Before I could process anything, I looked at the portal again, seeing that everything inside the portal was gone. As the portal vanished completely I realized that we were finally done with this journey.
"We made it…" I muttered in awe. "We did it..." I said with a slight smile on my face. "Thank you," I said as I bowed to Eila.
I could tell by the small smile formed on her lips, that she was proud of me. But it was only natural that she'd feel proud of me given how hard I worked for this. After all, I didn't get this far in life by just sitting down and doing nothing. Even though I still haven't fully recovered yet.
