Chereads / THE LAST BLANK PAGE OF HER DIARY / Chapter 12 - I heard his voice.

Chapter 12 - I heard his voice.

"How long will it take you to find me?" the girl asked him, it's all dark. She can't see a thing around her because of the darkness, but she heard his voice. He was calling her name out loud, tiredness in his voice was clear, but he didn't stop looking for her, he was searching for her restlessly in the dark.

He paused when he heard her voice, "Hold on a little longer! I promise, I'll find you this time!!" said Isaac concernedly.

"... ..."

She didn't say anything, she stood there waiting for him to come and bring her out of the darkness. It was hard to breathe there, it feels like this darkness will never end.

'Hold on, just a little bit longer. I will end this nightmare, this darkness will never bother us again. I will find you....!' he muttered under his breath, his looked serious.

'I can't breathe, my chest feels heavy! I can't see anything, I'm tired of this darkness, it's eating me away!!' she thought wearily, she was shivering and breathing heavily.

Crack. Crack.

A cracking sound was heard loudly, as if something was broken.

Nikki woke up to hear that cracking sound, she was panting and trembling. Her face looked pale.

"What was that....?" she mumbled to herself and hurriedly got out of bed after realizing.

She came out of her room.

"What's wrong? Are you alright?" Nikki asked worriedly as soon as she noticed Serra.

"Ahh- I'm fine!! But I woke you up, sorry!!" Serra said remorsefully.

It was midnight, Serra was thirsty and came to drink water. The glass which was in her hand fell down and broke into pieces, it made noise.

Afterwards, hey cleaned the broken piece of glass from the floor and went back to their rooms to sleep.

"I thought, I stopped having that nightmare, But-!!" she mumbled to herself, while spacing out.

'What was that dream for.... Why it's appearing again?

I heard his voice, he was searching for me.....!' Nikki thought anxiously; She tried to sleep, but couldn't.
