While Max walking among the ruined buildings and piling of deceased corpses, he sees a shining thing on a wall.
Without further ado, he commands his subordinates to prepare AI Squad in the military vehicles.
"Go and find all. Destroy them with nothing left." Four set of AI robotic soldiers are already prepared to begin their work given by Max. "Yes Miller Sergeant."
Other soldiers wait in the military vehicles while the AI robot soldiers one by one destroys every hidden devices put by Simuo Army. They do not know that Elis Army just successfully created few batch of AI soldiers which completes with trace ability. Nothing leaves out from their radar.
While they doing the destroy, from afar, the AI soldiers sense breathe of a human under a pile of metals, same as what reported by two Privates to Max. The breathe sounds weaker as time passes by.
The AI soldiers goes to the piles of metals, making other soldiers are confused in vehicles. "AI-1, speak. What's going on?"
"Miller Sergeant, AI-1 and Team AI found a girl under here. She is harmless and needed medical help as soon as possible, Sergeant. We request permission to get some more manpowers to dig this hole." The leader of AI Squad, AI-1 immediately answers.
"Permission accepted. Section Squad, get ready." All subordinates of Max one by one go to the hole area and prepare to take out the metals which covered it.
Soon everything is cleared, they see a girl is fainted and among her, is few of dead kids and animals. Only her is survived.
Perhaps this hole is prepared by the residents here to save their young ones but unfortunately almost all cannot make it except for one girl.
But when see precisely, the death of the kids and animals are indeed weird. Not because of explosion or anything during war, but seems be eaten very terrifically.
"Sergeant, what we should do? Do we have to save her?" one of Privates waiting for Max's answer. The situation looks not good if they decide to bring a strange girl who is found in a terrible way.
"Bring her along with us to the base."
"But Sergeant-"
"No but. Take my order. There I will think what to do with her." Max knows it is bad too to bring her along like what his subordinates fear of, but seeing the girl, she is in the same age or younger by a year with his twin sons who he does not see for almost four years. Max feels sympathy to leave her alone, surviving in the hell-like place.
One of the soldiers takes the girl's small body and put her in the back of the military vehicles. All leave the site and go to the their army base.
In the journey, Max looks at his necklace and he sees the small hologram of his family with his twin sons when they were still babies. Max and his wife were all laughing while hugging their sons. He misses the moments he was with his family when he saw the small girl back then.
