--Cho Jihyun's Point of View--
We arrived at our friend's private island as dawn ventured into the sky, only Honey Lou, Lee Haesu, and Jay-Hwang, including me, are the only ones currently awake to get a glimpse of the ferry setting aside.
"Here I come!" Daniel Austin Nevuerra sprinted barefoot in a tank top, and he was wearing the shorts that I designed back when we were still 14.
He came straight from the yacht's swimming pool area, and then, leaped upward on the diving board before splashing onto the sparkling and clear body of water with its white sand possessing multiple types of seashells.
'Is this a sign?' honestly, the imprints should have been Hawaiian-like but I guess luck was definitely not on my side that time when I painted it on my own.
"Eww. What is that dirty blonde-haired guy wearing?" exclaimed Ji Eun-eonni once she took a step on the seashore, hiddenly touching the back of her lover.
"I made it though..." her comment threw a huge boulder at me.
"I praise you for a unique outcome." Honey placed her hand on mine before walking ahead of us, following Yun Oh with all of her belongings.
"Can you take my stuff with you?" she gave a thumbs up as she turned to look at me, smiling so brightly as if she wasn't the Honey Lou we knew.
Come to think of it, I bet that this version of her is better, seeing as her smile is back and more naturally shown now, and she is also getting along well with her older sister...
I wish I had one.
"Oh, wait?" I do have one, I have Ji Eun-eonni as my one and only sister and best friend since Kim Sihyeon is not really compatible with me.
Though none of us are proudly compatible, we are still in one piece, are we not?
~~~~~~~~~~~~
"It isn't fitting! You piece of fabric!!" she tried to hook her upper undergarment but it kept on suffocating her.
"I need another one of these! Get me something else!"
Ji Eun-eonni gently led me outside the bathroom of the beach house, kindly asking if I can find something for her to use before the fun begins around here.
"Aha! I found one." a pastel-colored non-wired bra caught my attention when I entered the room where I will be taking my rest for the rest of this week.
Yua, Sora, Haesu-eonni, Honey Lou, and I are stuck together but hopefully, we're fine.
"Aha, what?" Yua sluggishly dragged herself onto one of the beds that she will be sharing with Sora while Haesu-eonni gets to enjoy a luxurious master bed on her own which leaves me with Honey.
It felt like there was no gravity on the rooftop of Yun Oh's beach house near the seashore apart from the one where we would be sleeping for the entire week.
I stepped on the roof, getting closer to the fence that keeps people from falling off.
"Jihyun!" a voice called.
However, for once, I didn't bother giving anyone even a tad bit of attention...
'I will use this summer break to find her again...'
The girl who I used to adore and admire so much to the point that some people who know me would call me very narcissistic just like someone, in particular.
I glared at Moon Hyunjoo, making the others look back and forth between the two of us for no reason at all, I feel like I really need to find her.
Almost everyone seems to be lost, and we're only here to try to find a reason to keep going, we aren't really here for each other because all we ever think of are mostly ourselves.
"That is so true, and slightly not." said Sihyeon.
She clasped her hands together as she approached me.
"Is there something up about me this time?" I asked her with little care.
"I think I stopped getting visions." she answered which intrigued me because this is a real surprise. "What? Seriously??" she nodded, making it seem convincing.
But I didn't believe it.
"Listen, this may not be the first time I told you this but it came true anyway... My greatest wish in this life has finally been granted." she replied with a smile of relief.
"I wish mine would happen already before I lose patience." my friend held my chin and looked into my eyes, nodding in agreement.
Or rather, she knows that it will finally be given to me.
"It was the last thing I saw about him and you."
The group of friends went on with their day by either swimming in the sea, or enjoying the good and fresh air around, and the sun settled down as they began to start to put the grill on fire.
"Hand me that bag of coal!" Sungyeon yelled at a student from their rival school, rolling his eyes at the loud noise the others were causing.
"Here you go." the other student threw it at him with respect, fearing to see the worst side of their rivals since they often lose when it comes to both physical and mental fights.
"If you want to have a bite, just ask!" Haesu yelled at her friend, Yang Sookyung for being too shy at the moment, his voice was somewhat more thin and inaudible than usual.
"OKAY! I HEARD YOU LOUD AND CLEAR!! THERE IS NO NEED TO YELL AT ME!" the younger friend responded with his mouth moving widely to talk louder amidst the music blasting from the other side of the lodge where they were.
'Must they really do all of those things?'
Honey Lou placed her headphones on, peacefully leaning on the balcony door before eventually getting dragged away from her comfort zone.
"I need your face!"
Sora Young squealed as she pushed her older friend onto an armchair, quickly putting on a hair band on Honey's hair to prevent the girl's hair from disrupting her makeup practice.
"Must I really be the one you practice dolling up??" the other female avoided the touch of a foundation brush, holding her hands against the item.
They both glanced at the pile of stuffed plastic dolls near Lee Haesu's side of one of the beds, feeling creeped out by the fact that they were suspiciously out of place though Honey's older sister sorted them not long ago.
"I am planning on learning how to do makeup. I tried it on myself and it kind of worked out so my friend asked me to fix her up on her 18th birthday, Honey! PLEASE!" she begged like a child who desires to eat sweets before dinner.
"No one else wants me to try this on them and so, I can't help my other friend..." she murmured in response, pouting her peach-colored lips upon being rejected once more.
"Okay, fine! As long as it looks great when you finish up." she smiled, hearing her dear friend give in to her favor.
'Nothing else in this world would make me happier than helping others...'
Honey sighed in defeat as she gained her senses, feeling like her usual self after a few days of being out of the ordinary, they spent hours on the second floor of the lodge, being the only ones who stayed in their respective rooms that night.
"You look dashing, my friend." Moon Hyunjoo nodded as he spread Song's coat evenly, complimenting the other male while their other friends sat on the couch, playing the same online mobile game as a team.
"Get him!!!" Yeonju led their team as the carrier toward victory.
"I GOT HER!" Min Oh celebrated, standing up after expressing his triumph.
"Calm down! We haven't even won the game yet."
Dan seemed really serious about defeating their enemy.
"Monica is back!" Yeonju screamed at the top of his lungs as he spectated Byungchan's gameplay after dying from an NPC.
"Did you hear something..?" Sihyeon flicked her hair backward as her eyes searched for that voice, repeating the name Monica over and over again from the other rooms.
Song Ji Eun, however, shook her head in disagreement upon being distracted by their rival school's inappropriate games across the lodge.
"Huh... I could've sworn that I heard my name."
Though they were in the same room, the two girls had different things in mind.
'I wonder what happened last night...' Sihyeon stared at her friend.
Clueless because of the fact that her ability to foresee and tell had disappeared, being done with the use of them made it suddenly vanish as if it was never there, the first place.
--Yua's Point of View--
I took off my cross necklace, placing it on the dresser near Honey Lou's bed, planning on taking a dip in the ocean as the night breeze made everyone else want to do so.
"Why do you keep on sighing?" as I looked over to Honey Lou...
Her eyes were very much tired from the eyeshadow and eyeliner with her timid lips looked like they had been frozen by the purple shade of lipstick that Sora used on her.
I handed a pack of wet wipes to her, slightly nudging her shoulder to wake up from being half-asleep.
"If you're going to sleep, at least wash up." leaving the room as soon as I heard a call.
'Oh, no!!' I panicked the moment I shut the door behind me, returning inside as soon as I came to a realization.
"Uhmmm..." Honey Lou was staring at something on the dresser, looking back at me as she heard my footsteps.
"I forgot something." I made up an excuse, checking out what she was focused on.
"Is that my sister's journal?" she wondered.
"Oh, I think so. But don't touch it, she writes all kinds of brutal things in there."
I warned her, knowing what is written inside of the journal since she sometimes leaves it open for everyone to see and feel her wrath...
"You know, she's vulgar." we agreed to each other, parting ways after that encounter.
"Wearing a disguise is hard, it can unravel any time."
