Chapter 47 - |Finally Getting The Help She Needs|

--Kim Young's Point of View--

"Well, hello there. How are you?" the waiter approached us, asking with a smile on her face, however, Haesu snickered at the girl as she looked at me with disgust.

"What is your problem?" I questioned her in a whisper, trying not to involve the waiter who was simply doing their job which was welcoming their customers.

"You never know, she could be flirting."

My girlfriend started insulting the waiter and kept hitting the table, the waiter girl, on the other hand, was offended and had her head hung low.

"Will you stop it-" Haesu motioned me to shut up and all I could do was hide my face from the second-hand embarrassment she was giving me.

'When will this ever end?'

I looked out the window, seeing some citizens pass by under the bright sun.

"Do your job properly!" the girl beside me yelled at the waiter before silently storming off as she listed our orders, unfortunately, her drama caused us a huge issue.

"Excuse me, do you mind keeping your voice down?"

"There are children everywhere." an elderly woman spoke to us politely but Haesu mimicked her and decided to leave on her own...

"Sorry about that." I stood up and left a few bills to pay for the meal that we hadn't even received yet, leaving to follow my girlfriend.

'This doesn't count as a date.'

We both walked side by side on the roadside, the sun slowly setting as our time got wasted by scouting more and more places to eat all because of her attitude.

"I don't get why people just can't keep their eyes off you." she dropped her hand and pointed at me, pouting if you may add.

"Eye contact is a huge part of everyone's daily life, Haesu..." I answered.

"Still, you're mine." she held my hand and we crossed the road without even looking from left to right. "Hold on!" a car almost hit the two of us.

However, it simply drove off after a few seconds.

'It seemed as if Haesu intimidated the person.'

"What are you doing? Let's go."

I guided her to the side and made sure that we didn't disturb any more of the people around us; yet, she looked like she was spacing out for some reason.

"You good? Haesu." I snapped my fingers in front of her to get her attention but suddenly, she started sprinting away.

'To where that car went.'

"I guess, someone is in town?" I mumbled under my breath, trying my best to comprehend what was going on.

"Hey, handsome~" Ji Eun somehow relieved the stress I felt from this day.

"You wanna go on a date?" she separated her linked arms from Jihyun and moved near me, indicating that the younger one should head off.

"What about me??" Jihyun asked correspondingly, linking her arms again with my lover.

"Why don't I take you, girls, out on a very expensive dinner? I got paid for modeling." they smiled very brightly unlike when I told Haesu about this news.

'It makes me feel sure about my decision.' the three of us headed to our favorite restaurant which is also our official hangout spot as a trio other than Bloom Café.

This is outside of town so...

"They won't catch us together, right?"

--Author's Point of View--

Haesu approached a familiar car and arrogantly opened the car door, letting herself inside as the man who almost got them hurt leaned on the car seat.

"What is your business here?" the last year senior high student crossed her feet and rested her chin on her palm as she weighed her elbow on the window.

'I'm not supposed to be worrying about her.'

"Shouldn't you be in Japan at the moment?"

The owner of the vehicle questioned in return, blatantly facing the road as the car was hidden in the shadow of a tall yet abandoned building.

Haesu scoffed while her eyes widened from the realization but didn't want to make it obvious to her so-called father, Soonji Go.

'I ain't letting him win as always.'

"Ivy is flaming mad at you, and the minute you show up in front of her..." she lowered her eyelids and her gaze turned icy cold when she faced the man.

"She'll expose everything. Even my involvement if she has already figured it out."

The 'father' and his 'daughter' abruptly silenced themselves from the loud siren of an ambulance passing in front of them.

"Your sister mustn't remember anything if you want your friends to stay." he reminded her of the consequences they may face when the girl, in particular, realizes that the family and friends she calls, have been the reason all along.

"Will do. You know that I would never choose her over them, but if you hurt her." Haesu snapped her finger in front of the man and threatened him.

"I will risk anything to save someone precious to my mother." they parted ways as quickly as possible and decided to avoid one another from that moment, and so on.

--Sora Young's Point of View--

'Is this the right place?' the entrance looks rather frightening, I thought they were welcoming or encouraging us to try coming here often.

But I guess I should give them some feedback.

"What even is this fence? It just looks like a haunted and abandoned home..." a whistle called and I was suddenly dragged out of there.

"You seriously fell for that?" a feminine voice giggled as she asked me.

Seokjoon-eonni shook her head in disbelief before explaining why there was a 'haunted' and 'abandoned' house back there.

"Everyone here likes pulling pranks on each other, so our department had this clinic built in case someone goes too far. No worries though, that house is for April fools."

'Isn't it too early to decorate for that day?' I mean, it is only February...

"So, I heard you need a therapist?"

"I wouldn't say that. I only came to see you!" lying would definitely make it sound too cowardly for me, hence, let us change up the story in that case.

"But if you insist, I guess we can do that."

Seokjoon-eonni laughed it off, surely aware of my cowardness.

'How foolish of me.' we entered and then, straight to her office we went.

"So, tell me just anything you would like to let out." our conversation began at 7:05 PM till 11:00 PM without even realizing how much time passed by so quickly.

She specifically asked for the details of the issues that were bothering me, and because of that, the person I had been expecting seemed to have arrived already.

"I understand, you feel lonely, misunderstood, and unappreciated. Correct?" she added whilst writing down something. "Maybe. This isn't the same as Honey's situation though, she faces more problems than me..."

She patted my head once I finally got the chance to shift onto the most comfortable position on this uncomfortable sofa, still blurting out a bunch of random yet common things that I have in mind like any other.

"We are secretly fighting our own battles in life, aren't we? Don't compare yourself to them and continue being you."

She smiled at me before picking up the pieces of paper on the floor.

I bet that she finds me annoying too since I was just throwing words at her as she tried to keep on track in writing what I said.

"I'll tell you, what? Come here often so we can catch up with one another. Sound good?" my personal therapist-friend cheerfully held my hand and happily squealed at the thought of bonding once again after a while.

"Thank you, Bae!" a cab pulled over as I bid farewell to my older friend, someone who I genuinely see as an older sister.

I gave the address to my so-called driver for the night to guide him on the way before fishing out my phone hastily.

Panicking subtly from the driver's identity, Yua replied in an instant even though it was late in the evening, I most likely couldn't leave this vehicle now without bothering him.

But what could he possibly want from me?

'This does not make sense.'

"Isn't this where you actually live?" I threw the cash on his face as soon as I realized the tactic, rushing out of the cab.

'Seriously, how does he know my family's house??'

The creepy feeling lingered for a long time since that night, I certainly stopped heading home alone and instead, stuck beside Yua.
