--Author's Point of View--
Haesu parked her car by the sidewalk near the entrance of the school gate.
Letting her younger sister out on her own as she started the car again before heading to the school parking lot.
She decided not to stay with Honey for too long, knowing that she could still be upset by her actions from a week ago.
However, as Honey Lou entered the school grounds, planning to quickly attend her morning class with no distractions whatsoever.
Someone automatically blocked her way, a friend she was determined to avoid, at all costs, she tried to go around the boy but he kept on getting in her way.
So she lifted her head, trying to figure out who the person was since she still hadn't gotten used to the people she encountered there.
'Just by looking at those filthy headphones, I can tell that's him.' the girl thought to herself, ignoring his presence once more.
She didn't say anything nor look at him as she began walking away, on the other hand, Dan felt quite offended by the sudden departure.
"Aren't you going to say hi? I deserve a thank you, or even just a smile from you!" the boy spoke from a distance because Honey was walking away at a fast pace.
However, he proceeded to keep an eye on the girl despite being treated coldly even after he took care of her.
'That girl still hasn't adapted well.' almost every single one of them in the group knew that she had been avoiding her friends on purpose.
"Honey!" the girl was caught off guard by the call because it wasn't really that lovely for her to hear a bunch of strangers saying her name.
She still found it uncomfortable to have such a name as sweet as honey when deep inside of her, everything felt bitter.
'I can tell this will end badly.'
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Out of every memory that she has been waiting to return after all this time.
It finally comes but...
"Why does it all have to be about him? The exact person that I could care less about even when he did not do a single thing wrong.
"I can't tell if he's only using my feelings for his gain." she stated, wanting to forget about the things they went through together in the past.
Including the present time they've shared with each other.
"I can't predict exactly why Dan is after me. He doesn't just like me."
Honey walked towards a white door and slid it sideways, unlocking the door where her doctor was. "Are you feeling any better today, Ms. Lou?"
Her uncle had asked, knowing about her health problems.
"Not really, things are just getting worse as time passes. Anything new?" the girl replied, asking once more about her health issue.
He took off his glasses before sounding very frustrated as he checked.
"It's bad, isn't it?"
Honey asked, knowing that her time left to live is only limited although, they still haven't figured out what was wrong with Honey, and having no clue about her condition makes it more unfortunate from her perspective.
"You don't have to bother, it is fine by me." she smiled.
"I think there is still a way but you have to cooperate with me." he stood up from his seat, pulling the girl into his arms as he caressed her back.
Telling her that she doesn't have to give up this early.
"I'm not your daughter..." Honey said as she hugged him back.
Reminding him that her condition was far from similar compared to his late daughter.
"I promise you that you won't end up like her." he held her face whilst looking into both of her eyes, trying to secretly check any physical changes without the girl knowing because he knows her just as much as her mother does.
"You can't cure my depression either so what makes you think that you can help me with an unknown disease??" she madly answered him.
"I don't even have to try since there is no other reason for me to exist, I'm nothing else but a phase." the girl spoke to herself as she walked up the stairs towards the rooftop, waiting for her sister to pick her up from the hospital.
'What a beautiful view, a nostalgic memory that I'll certainly remember.'
She glanced at the pinkish-orange sky while the wind blew past her.
She stood there waiting...
The girl looked down as she recalled the conversation that she had with her uncle, the person whom her mother entrusted with every detail concerning her.
And most importantly, told him about her condition.
"I wonder if this is just my fate, or is someone else at fault for this..?"
She whispered to herself.
'Is this all just a nightmare? A bad dream where all my problems come and try to make me fall apart.' Honey asked herself as she tried holding back the tears that were wanting to break free but what else can she do now?
'It's hopeless for me. Nothing on earth can help me.'
Not only was she depressed but also had a bigger problem which was her unknown condition, something that no one could even figure out.
She stared at the object in front of her tippy-toes before looking up to find a football player waving at her as he specifically instructed her to bring the ball back to the field.
"Could you pass it over here? Pick it up and bring it to me."
He shamelessly spoke without any hesitation towards the girl but little did he know the thoughts that Honey was having at that very second.
'Revenge is never the key but...'
"Well, you had it coming." she softly spoke as she picked up the item they use in football, throwing it directly at his face with definite force.
She blankly gazed at the athlete as he fell on his back but as the athlete started yelling gibberish about her, she immediately left the scene as the people cheered.
He watched as her figure dispersed in less than a minute.
"Welcome back, Honey Lou!" they all said.
'The kid deserved it, you should never mess with Honey, especially when she's having deep thoughts.' Dan consciously spoke to himself, witnessing the girl's response to the disrespect that a junior from their school sports club had shown.
An act in which words aren't necessarily needed.
Everyone was buzzing once they saw Honey enter the school, they were shocked to see her in a not-so-friendly mood because like usual, the girl is always smiling.
In reality, that smile they often see is nothing but a fake.
'Here comes the nosy people.' Honey commented as she excused herself from the crowd where the people who were concerned about her had gathered.
'Can't they notice?'
"Honey, here's a gift to welcome you back here. We all missed you and your smile!" the senior student spoke on behalf of the entire Honey fan club that exists for some odd reason, the girl had no idea as to who they were.
But still, she put on a smile as they encouraged her to cheer up.
"Am I that important to all of you..?" she accidentally spoke out loud.
Everyone nodded as they gave way for her to head to her class with no delay this time, she tried to understand the situation.
Since there wasn't anything wrong with being concerned.
'They're friendly just as I've been told.'
Banners of Honey's name can be seen throughout the school buildings, even the people that the girl had met on the way to class 2-D were likely giving her gifts such as balloons which weren't so ideal for Honey.
Nonetheless, she accepted them, sweets to make her feel better, and stuffed toys as well.
"Who knew that I'd be receiving this much attention? I just hope that no one in our family overseas would hear nor see any of this."
She inaudibly stated as they soon started the discussion.
'You good?' these two words were the only thing that people asked her during class, even when she was trying to catch up with their lessons.
The students around were getting annoying as time went by.
As their classes ended for the day, the group of friends chose to leave the school as soon as possible since luckily, each of them was pretty much free for the whole month.
"At last, we've done it!" the two young girls walked side by side, holding each other's hands as they completed the same game.
"How many times have you finished that stupid game again?"
Haesu irritatingly started the car as the others had already settled inside, they decided to attend the party that their friend had invited them because why not?
'Things are already going according to my plan.'
Sihyeon thought to herself as she quickly looked back right after the one behind the wheel had driven the car.
"Step on it!" she stood up.
"Hey! Wait up, you guys." the cyan-haired boy began running as the car became faster.
"Seriously, where'd he sleep this time?" Yua questioned without taking her eyes off the phone as Sora was busy, fidgeting with the hem of her skirt from fear.
Sihyeon tried her best to lighten up the mood because she knew what had occurred the night before but couldn't bring up the topic.
Since she wasn't actually at the scene when it happened so she pretended not to know about it whilst secretly helped her friend handle the issue.
'Something will happen again tonight but I'm all prepared for that.'
Kim Sihyeon isn't the normal type of a cupid, she would always ask things that she already knows but why exactly does she do this?
Now, this may sound bizarre, unlike any other event that has occurred in their world yet it is true, she can predict things that can possibly be changed at any time.
"For as long as 14 years in my life, things have always gone my way because no one ever counters the changes that I'm trying to do, especially in Honey's life." she whispered to herself as her friends walked hand in hand towards the house where the party will happen.
'I only exist for Honey and Dan.'
The older girl took this chance to flip everything around from being too dull and depressive for all of their lives.
She had always been the one who was born very keen and with exact predictions.
Every day as well as the gift to interact with the supposed event that will strangely change a lot of things.
Almost every single one of them in the same place plays a role each time they are born in the same timeline in Honey Lou's life and destiny with Dan Nevuerra.
However, they can't change the exact roles that they attain in that time of history.
'This is not a fairytale where a happy ending exists.'
In this timeline of theirs, the protagonists live a not-so-perfect life as how people think they do, and despite that fact, someone is bound to be a phase, specifically, the female lead.
On the other hand, there is still a chance for Sihyeon to turn her visions into reality.
'But there's a price for that.'
