I took a deep breath, and held it in, as I watched the black SUV, pulled out from the balcony, and out came Emilio, and I began to panic even more.
The bruise that that guy left was even bigger, and more angry, and it had a it of swelling that putting makeup on it would be pointless, for Emilio, would notice it right away.
"My love?" I heard him call from behind me, as I stood on the balcony facing the city, "are you still mad at me? I brought you something."
"No, no. I'm fine. I'm not mad." I said still facing away from him, and he sighed as he came closer, but not close enough to touch, for he must have thought that I did not want him to touch me right now.
"Are you sure my love? Could you at least please look at me so that I know that we are ok?"
"We are okay Emilio. I just." I started turning my good cheek to him slightly, but stopped as I sighed, "I am afraid that you will be the one that gets mad at me."
