"So you're the cause of that huh?" asked Maria as I stepped out of the building after work, and I was a bit startled for I hadn't seen her at first.
"Maria. Oh hi."
"Did you cause Miss. Fernandez to storm out of the building crying this afternoon after visiting Mr. Martinez causing a commotion?" she asked and I gaped.
"Maria I-I don't know what to say truly."
"I can't believe you Marianna. I truly can't. I thought you were better than this. Sleeping with and dating an engaged man?" she said in purse disgust.
"We're not dating Maria."
"But you didn't deny that you slept with him. Don't try to play dumb Marianna everybody knows. You're now a hot topic. You haven't even been here for two months as yet and here you are causing a scene."
