I was ready to be discharged two days later, for I had regained most of my energy, and I was feelin better.
"Be careful not to push too fast." I said to Emilio as he wheeled me out of the hospital as I held my stomach.
The scare that I faced the other day of almost losing my baby, had opened my eyes, and I was now living as carefully as I can to ensure that my baby is safe at all times.
"I know baby. I'm going as slow as I can."
"Wait. This isn't spicy right?" I asked when we got to my apartment, and he had made soup for me
"No, baby, I didn't add any peppers just like you asked."
"Wait. The lavender fragrance is organic right? It's safe right?" I asked before stepping into the bath tub, and he sighed.
"Yes, dear, I made sure to read all the ingredients, and do my research."
"Okay good. The water is no too hot, nor too cold is it?" I asked, and he dipped in his hand in it, and whirled around for a few seconds.
"No darling. It is just right."
