Duke Alphonso said, as Lady Melissa stared daggers into the man's body before she let out her own sigh of relief, all she had to do now was just to wait for Duke Gaston's heart to stop pumping out blood, and from the looks of it, that wouldn't be long from now.
Lady Melissa believed that the very reason the guards weren't arresting her right now, was because of Duke Alphonso, somehow, and someway, the man was always the one who would save her from her problems, even though he was now the 'villain' of her story (or at least one of the villains of her story) he was still there for her, and she absolutely despised him because of it.
