After many failed attempts many thrown papers and many inks wasted, Lady Melissa had finally finished writing her letter to the King.
It was the best she could come up with, she just hoped that the King liked it enough to accept her request to have an audience with him.
Lady Melissa called for Derreck as she handed the letter to him and asked him to send it to the royal palace.
To which he of course complied, she'd probably be getting a response in a few days, or if she was that unlucky, it'd be a few weeks, or if she was really unlucky then it'd be in a few months.
Lady Melissa just hoped that the God of luck was on her side.
Lady Melissa would just have to patiently wait till the King would reply to her- or in this case most likely one of his employees to reply to her.
The King couldn't be bothered to write a letter back to Lady Melissa in his own handwriting when he had many other things to do.
