Lady Melissa's heart was beating out of her chest, it was a little nerve-wracking that everyone in the ball had their eyes on her, Duchess Victoria included.

Duchess Victoria waved her arms though, and in an instant, everyone continued chatting and talking with each other, and the music continued as well.
Although Lady Melissa missed the attention on her, she was grateful for Duchess Victoria's actions, who knew how much longer she'd be able to stand all the attention on her?
