Lady Melissa thought that the brunette-haired woman was fictional.
Never in a million years, did Lady Melissa ever think that the brunette-haired woman would be real.
Or, maybe Lady Melissa had just tried to convince herself that there was no way the brunette-haired woman could be real.
"Hey, hey Melissa, you didn't do anything wrong okay?"
The Duke said, as he pulled his daughter for a hug.
Lady Melissa stayed silent, knowing that her silence would make her parents sympathize for her even more, feeling bad that she even thought of such a thing.
After a few more minutes of Lady Melissa trying to take advantage of her parent's sympathy so she could go out to the capital to gain more intel regarding the brunette-haired woman, and so her lessons would be reduced, it had worked.
All Lady Melissa had to do was simply act how sorry she had felt regarding the whole situation, and just cry out some tears.
