Lady Melissa had changed because of her friends, her family and the Crown Prince. As much as she hated him, she couldn't help but admit that one of the biggest reasons she changed was because of him.
If it wasn't for him, she wouldn't be here right now, perhaps she would still be shy and afraid to talk to her parents.
Perhaps she would've never even stood up for herself, and stayed quiet just like how she used to do so in the past.
That was the past Lady Melissa though, now she knew to stand up for herself and not to get herself used.
She knew better than to stay quiet, and push away from her parents, even if it was a defense mechanism.
Lady Melissa wasn't that person anymore, and she didn't want to be that person anymore, neither did she hope that she would be that person in the future either.
But, Lady Melissa, decided to wait a little, if by ten minutes neither of her parents had shown up then she would eat on her own.
