The Duchess said, as she finally finished talking, taking a sip of the glass of water, awaiting Lady Melissa's response.
"Thank you mother, I appreciate you telling me this, and I'll make sure to live my life, but I live my life by seeing others around me happy, and not stressed. So would you help me live my life by giving some of your workload and father's to me?"
Lady Melissa cheekily said, hoping that her mother would give up and reply with a yes.
"You never give up do you?"
The Duchess sarcastically said, a little pleased with herself that she had managed to bring up such an amazing kind girl into the world, who wanted to help her parents.
Although it didn't seem much, it certainly would be a lot of help to her parents, even if she only helped by doing one page, they wouldn't mind.
It was the fact that Lady Melissa even wanted to help them in the first place that would touch their heart's.
"So I'll take that as a yes?"
