'Yep, I definitely don't regret giving the chef a raise.'
Lady Melissa thought, remembering when she asked her dad to give the Shayla's personal chef a raise.
Lady Melissa quickly finished the dessert in a few minutes, leaving her both full and hungry at the same time. Hungry because she was eager to eat more desserts.
Lady Melissa took a tissue paper, wiping some of the melted ice cream off of her face.
Lady Melissa burped before suddenly yawning.
Decided that she wanted to read a little more before sleeping, she took the book called 'No longer human' after a few minutes of reading a few pages of the book. Lady Melissa yawned once more. This time, however, she thought she should get a rest. She could continue reading the book tomorrow.
Lady Melissa slowly dragged her feet into the bathroom, taking her toothbrush and toothpaste before squeezing the living h*ll out of it, so the small remaining amount of toothpaste would finally be used, and she could throw the empty toothpaste bottle now.
Lady Melissa quickly brushed her teeth, eager to be able to go to bed.
Lady Melissa opened the bathroom door, closing the lights off before sleeping.
Surprisingly, she was sleepy this time, unlike many others where she would just stay up and overthink, barely getting any sleep.
"BRRBRRR"
Lady Melissa was awoken by her alarm clock, that she forgot she had adjusted to waking her at 5 AM. She quickly shut it off, however, wanting to continue to sleep more.
Lady Melissa slept and slept, and she awoke from her slumber a few hours later, at 12 PM in the afternoon.
Lady Melissa woke up, but this time just randomly, no one woke her up, nor did anything woke her up, she had a good sleep, and she could even catch a lot of hours of sleep.
"Lady Melissa? Are you awake yet?"
Lady Melissa heard a knock on the door, and hearing Sophia question her, she immediately responded.
"Yeah, I'm awake Sophia, you can go inside."
Lady Melissa sleepily said, yawning.
Although she did sleep quite a lot, you could never have too much sleep.
"Good morning to you too, Lady Melissa!"
Sophia cheerfully greeted Lady Melissa.
"Or- afternoon, I guess."
Sophia quickly corrected herself, noticing her slight mistake.
"Good afternoon as well, Sophia."
Lady Melissa greeted back.
"Anyway, why'd you come here for Sophia?"
Lady Melissa asked all of a sudden, curious as to why Sophia had come into her room.
"Oh, I was going to see if you woke up or not, I came earlier just now at 10 AM and knocked on your door, but you didn't respond, so I kind of assumed you were sleeping and left."
"Ohhh."
Lady Melissa responded.
"Yeah, do you plan on eating breakfast now, Lady Melissa? If so, then I'll tell the chef to prepare something quick and tasty for you right now."
Sophia asked.
"I don't think I'm going to eat breakfast right now, Sophia, probably in an hour or two, though. I don't mind if you tell the chef to prepare something for me, but could you request him to make a bacon sandwich mixed with egg and cheese inside of it?"
"That's an oddly specific request but I'll tell the chef as soon as we're done talking."
Sophia said with a bright smile on her face.
"Thanks Sophia. Now Shoo Shoo."
Lady Melissa playfully said.
"I shall excuse myself now."
Sophia said, taking Lady Melissa's words seriously.
In the blink of an eye, Sophia had disappeared and Lady Melissa was left alone to gather her thoughts.
'I should probably think about what the fuck happenned yesterday.'
Lady Melissa thought, recalling bits of the incident that had happened yesterday.
'Okay so…. the one who murderer her was a man, green eyes and was probably a doctor or nurse… given the fact that he practically dismembered the poor girls organs.'
Lady Melissa thought, trying not to imagine the girls dismembered organs.
'Hmm what else…. can I remember from the incident…?'
Lady Melissa thought, trying her best to remember what else had happenned yesterday when the incident had happenned.
'Maybe I should summarize how I had found out about the murder yesterday.'
'Okay so yesterday I was eating French fries, and then a dog came and I wanted to pet it so I followed it into some…. creepy alleyways and I got lost and then I saw the man murdering the woman.'
'I think that's… it right?'
Lady Melissa thought for a few seconds, before nodding her head. That was it.
If only she hadn't followed the dog, then she wouldn't see such a horrible accident right before her eyes, and she felt useless for not doing anything in the situation except for just… running away.
'Maybe if I had stayed and tried to help the woman she would still be alive right now.'
Lady Melissa thought, a guilty feeling in her heart, just maybe if she had tried to help the woman wouldn't be dead, and the man would be caught and sent to prison.
' You know I should stop dwelling on my regret, instead I should try and make up about the fact that I indirectly helped a man kill a woman without getting caught.'
'I wonder how I can try and give the poor woman justice.'
Lady Melissa thought before an idea had popped in her head.
'Maybe I could…. Try and search for the man who had killed the woman? And give evidence to the police so they'll imprison him…. Though a lot of the police officers are corrupt so I might need to call in a favour.'
Lady Melissa thought, biting her nails with a serious expression on her face.
'Looks like I'll have to call in a favour.'
Lady Melissa reluctantly thought, before sighing, she didn't want to call in a favour but she had to.
She had no choice but get in touch with some of her connections before calling in a favour.
