I searched until I lost track of time, and soon, it was dark. There was no light at all, so I switched on the torch on my bracelet. The light wasn't very strong. Though the windows were huge, people outside probably wouldn't be able to see any light through the 18th floor's windows.
Finally, I opened the last cabinet.
I pulled it open and it turned out to be a safe. I turned the lock, listening to the sound inside. I was sure that I couldn't open it.
In that case, I had no choice but to abandon this safe and move on to the next room.
I went to the right and pulled the door open. It wasn't locked. That was easy.
Inside was a small corridor with a bathroom on the side. Further ahead was a dining room. Further ahead was the office I had seen outside.
There was a long wooden desk with a computer on it and a floor-to-ceiling window behind it.
There was only one bookshelf in this room. The bookshelf was full of the greatest books.
