Saera laughed, the peals echoing down the hall, as Jin led her by the hand. He was moving at such a fast pace that she had to hurry to keep up, her skirts bunched in one hand.
"Jin, slow down!" She laughed as he turned again and wrapped his arms around her waist, lifting her playfully.
"You hurry up," he growled, kissing her in between words. "It's been long enough, I'm not waiting at that party a moment longer."
He pushed her into his quarters, swinging the door behind him. It closed behind them with a click, and they were finally alone.
Jin's lips crashed down against hers urgently and impatiently, smothering her gasp of surprise. His arms closed around her waist like iron, lifting her abruptly and carrying her the short distance to the bed as if she weighed nothing at all.
Without a moment of respite, Jin pushed her down against the pillows, kicking off his shoes and climbing on top of her.
