Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

"Where am I?"

Aurel looked around, seeing as he couldn't recognize where he was, he decided to take note of his surroundings. He was in what appeared to be a cabin that had nothing but a small twin sized bed crammed into a corner with some cabinets and drawers neatly placed around the room taking every inch of surface area possible.

Aurel also noticed a mirror on one of the cabinets next to his bed. Getting up off the bed, Aurel stumbled and had to grab on the cabinet for balance.

"Wow, did not expect that" Aurel mumbled as he looked down at his arms and legs that where noticeably smaller than he remembered.

Still not comprehending the situating he stumbled towards the mirror and peered into it. What Aurel saw shocked him to the core.

" Um, ok, the cabin I can understand, but what's with my body!" Aurel exclaimed while running his hand through his hair.

In the reflection instead of his previous plain appearance, brown eyes and dirty blond hair, he was noticeably more handsome. With crystal blue eyes and platinum blond hair along with facial features that will noticeably become more pronounced as he matures such as a strong jawline and cheekbones.

"Welp, fuck! I guess this is a new body? Meaning rebirth? No I wasn't reborn I just took over the body… so transmigration." Aurel thought aloud

"Hah, so that means all those books Eduard read were actually real? Guess I should have given them some more attention, sigh, to late for any regrets might as well see where the hell i am" Aurel thought back to the times he saw Eduard stuck on his phone like glue instead of studying for his tests and he said that he was reading light novels. Aurel had been curious about what could take Eduards attention away from games and remembered Eduard going on and on about an MC getting hit by truck kun and being sent into another body…into another world.

" Hold up, if what I remember is correct, doesn't that mean I'm in another world?" Aurel thought as he glanced outside the cabins only window. All he saw where trees and blue sky. 'Sigh, so troublesome…' Aurel thought as he walked outside of the cabin.

What greeted him was the freshest air he had ever breathed. It was so pure and clean that it felt like his lifespan gained 10 years per inhale."This fresh air! I feel like I'm breathing in Fiji water!" His previous slouched posture was gone and he was standing tall with his arms outstretched as he breathed in and took in his surroundings.

All he saw were trees and trees along with a small dirt path heading deeper into the forest.

"Hm, looks like that's my way out, and hopefully back to civilization!"

With new found vigor and a fast and eager march Aurel set of onto his journey, a journey that would change the fates of many forever…
