When Malcolm ended the call heather had just arrived home like god was smirking at her but she soon started packing and the first thing she packed was the only picture Malcolm wished didn't exist it was heathers and Malcolm's wedding picture where he was the only one smiling
' I should probably hurry up and what should I pack' heather thought still confused on what happened today and it was all in the same day but she still packed and whit time to spare and so she began to reminisce on the day she and him got married ' you are the only one who looks happy in that picture every time I look at your smile it brings me back to when you opened that door in that hotel, i wish I could see you smiling to me again' as she finished that thought she heard a knock she knew it must be Malcolm so she opened the door.
Malcolm stood there whit an indifferent face and asked "have you finished packing miss Hilton" but heather said nothing and you could only see tears flowing down her face 'why are you crying I should be the one crying right now just looking at you is bringing that day back into my head' so Malcolm in a swift motion grabbed her bags walked towards his car "get in the car miss hilton".
Malcolm reached his car open the trunk and arranged the bags for them to fit while heather got in the car still crying but not making a sound 'why is she still crying she's making me look like I'm kidnapping her or something I need to hurry up' then Malcolm got in the car turned it on and drove but traffic got heavy and will probably take a couple hours for them to reach Malcolm's apartment 'me and my stupid luck I really hate my birthday' Malcolm thought whit a glum look in his face.
Heather noticing the traffic and knowing it will take a long time decide to talk and foremost apologize "Malcolm I .. wanted to -" but before she could finished Malcolm interrupted " don't I don't want to hear an excuse from your cheating mouth" heather was a little scared but she had no reason to refute him but she steeled herself and once again tried to apologize " Malcolm I'm sorry I have no excuse for that I did to you especially today so I'm sorry if you don't want to see me I'll make sure I stay out of site even if you bring women since I have no right to complain" Malcolm hearing this was a bit surprised when she said the last part not because it was outrageous but because he could feel the pain and sadness from her words but Malcolm didn't say anything he continued driving whit out looking at her In complete silence
