Chatrapati shivaji maharaj was born on 19 February 1630 at shivneri fort in maharashtra in Sahyadri hills .His father was shahaji raje Bhosale who was well known servant in adilshah kingdom and he was totally nurtured by his mother jijabai , he was from his chidhood days are well known for inculcating passionate ,strong and powerful ideas in his friends and his whole kingdom , He was well known for leadership qualities , in his childhood days he has not able to meet his father but her mother has given him all the valuse which one king or warrior required .He was well well known for his secular feeling among all the people around his vicinity .He has never follow communalism .He has special respect for women which boots his personality .All his enemies from Afghanistan .Adilshahi,Nizamshahi was well known for their cruel behavior but shivaji was well known for peoples king .He was not against any religion he was only against dictator ship .He said that slavery is a state of mind and nothing else ,he always said that all the Marathas have been ruled by others because they have allow them to ruled over them .He his well known for his bravery in his whole life he has not get defeated by any Mughals nizams adilshahis etc,he has always won the battle by his superb intelligence and bravery .His intelligence was like chankya pandit .He infact won the battle instead of using sword by guerillla war .He in his whole life defeat all the warriors from other country like afzalkhan , shaistakhan etc ,he in his life not kill any small child not looked by cruel eyes towards any female and hence in more than 100 countries shiv charitra has been teaching .He is often known as father of Indian Navy
