The drive was long and quiet. Hunny had fallen asleep so Levvin allowed her to rest her head on his shoulder. Lev had to put himself in a comfortable sitting position so they both would be comfortable. On his right side, Uneru leaned against the door with his hat over his eyes. He was on the verge of falling to sleep, but several times forced himself to stay awake. A few times he reached his hand up to push his hat up out of his eyes to look out the window.
Lukas Meyers pulled his sleeve up to check his watch. "Almost there." He whispered to himself.
Lukas wanted to make this trip go faster so he wouldn't have to be around crazy people anymore. He would have rather sit in his office doing paperwork all day than escorting a bimbo, gay man, and their designated driver. He longed to be relaxing.
"Are we there yet?" Levvin felt he had to ask since nobody else had done so before.
Lukas forced a smile before gesturing a hand toward Hunny's window. "Well, if you look out the window..."
After Lukas had said that, Levvin and Uneru immediately sat up in their seats and looked out the window. Right there was the line! Talk buildings quickly came into view just before the the limousine came to a halt.
A man wearing a blue boarders man uniform gently knocked on the glass and it slid down. He bent down to look at the people inside the vehicle. When he spoke, it was difficult to understand him because his German accent was so thick. Lukas moved across the dark green seats toward the door and pulled out his Identification Card from his coat pocket. Showing it to the boarder man, he said "I'm delivering guests to Mr. Felix Grayson. I gave you a crossing slip what was signed by him, earlier today. I'm one of his assistants, Lukas Meyers."
The boarder man scanned Lukas with his eyes from head to toe. Looking back and forth at him and the man's ID, making sure he was exactly who he says he is. Remembering who Lukas was, he nodded. "You are who you say you are, Mr. Meyers."
The boarder man next to Uneru's window looked inside at the three different individuals. "From which Territory did you say they are from?"
"The Tollen Territory." Lukas answered just before switching his language to German.
Levvin looked at Uneru, surprised to finally hear Lukas speaking in his own language. Uneru nodded, agreeably. Uneru knew Levvin a little bit of German because on the night he allowed him to stay the night at his place, Levvin kept switching from German, Spanish, Italian, and English. It was mainly due to the drug that his client had illegally gave him.
After Lukas finished what he was saying to the boarder man, he drew back his card and slid it back into his pocket. The boarder men stepped away from the vehicle and the windows were rolled up. Shortly after, the vehicle began to move forward.
"Do you know what they said?" Uneru whispered to Levvin.
Levvin laughed, "I caught a few words. I'm not that fluent." He placed his right hand on Hunny's shoulder and gently shook her awake.
Hunny opened her eyes. "Hmm? Are we there yet?" She slowly asked as she sat up and looked at Levvin. She slowly remembered where she was.
"Oh yeah, we're hear. You just missed the boarder men." He said, "Look outside." He pointed at the window.
Hunny took one look out the window and was amazed by how different the Trinity Territory looked from Tollen Territory. Levvin leaned in towards the window with Hunny to get a better look while Uneru looked out his.
The limousine was driving on a bridge so high above the ground, they had to look down to see the business sign on the buildings. There was a building with blue and red neon lights that looked a little similar to the club Neopolitan owned came into view. This one was called something different, of course; "Moon World". Levvin and Hunny looked at each other and grinned.
"I know where Uneru's taking us~!' Hunny sang, which made Levvin laugh and Uneru bolt up in his seat.
"What?" Uneru looked at the orange haired girl.
"You're taking us to Moon World to have fun some time?" Levvin grinned. "I'll give you a lap dance! Free of charge!"
"Absolutely not!" Uneru shouted.
Levvin laughed. He was only joking with him.
"Didn't he already have one?" Hunny asked, laughing.
"I SAID WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT!!" Uneru shouted. "ARE YOU ACTUALLY THE PEOPLE I BROKE PROTOCOL WITH?!!"
The limousine slowed and pulled onto a calmer road. After a few minutes down the street, the limousine took a right onto Greystone Heights and from there the long vehicle slowed down more.
Uneru pressed a button on the door to roll down the window and stuck his head out to look up and around. Tall pine trees lined up the road on either sides. Uneru guessed Mr. Grayson had a huge living area dedicated to his family name. Uneru saw something at the corner of his eye and when he looked, he immediately pulled his head back into the vehicle, shook by what he saw.
"Holy shit!" Uneru cursed for what seemed like the first time in his life. He slammed his fist on the button for the window to roll back up.
Levvin and Hunny looked at Uneru, wondering what was going on with him. It was Levvin who asked first. "What?"
"I hope nobody saw me!" He continues to freak out a little.
"What? What? Tell me!" Levvin shouted impatiently.
"There's three limos behind us!" Uneru finally answered.
Levvin stared at the blonde male in disbelief. They were already told there were other people from other territories being housed with them. Why was Uneru this surprised? Even Hunny was confused.
The limousine reached the end of the street and made a right onto a gravel road. The vehicle continued it's way down a parallel road, lined but by a row of tall trees that seemed to throw a shadow over the driveway. The driveway led straight to Mr. Grayson's mansion. The house had three floors high and it seemed to be made up of brick and stone with numbers of steeply high roofs. The windows were tall and each had small Corinthian pillars on each side. Larger pillars at each corner seemed to be what was holding up the old mansion. The seemed it had been around since the 18th century. In from the he house stood a large stone fountain of an angel holding a jar with water pouring out from it. At the angel's feet were two child like angels that looked up at the larger angel and even they were holding their own jars. Below there feet was a pool of water in which the water from the larger angel's jar had been gushing out from. The mansions' lawn was green and low and it extended out as far as the eye could see it. Beyond that were trees that seemed to be the end of the estate. There was a path that was a lighter color than the grass around the mansion. The path curved somewhere around the side of the house.
"Oh great," Said Levvin, "More trees."
Suddenly, the vehicle came to a forceful halt, which almost threw Hunny, Levvin, and Uneru out of their seats.
"For cryin' out loud!" Levvin said.
"You'll live." Uneru replied. He picked up his hat that had been thrown off his head.
"So will you after I pull all those little hairs out of your head." Levvin teased.
"Do you have to be so vulgar?" Uneru scowled at his effeminate friend.
Levvin smiled, "With you? Yes."
"Welcome to the Grayson estate." Lukas began, "When you exit the vehicle you are to leave your bags inside. They will be taken care of for you. After I escort you to meet Mr. Grayson, himself, we will say our goodbyes and you'll be escorted by somebody else further one."
Hunny's door was opened by an elderly man who wore a black tailcoat. Hunny looked up at the man, curiously. She guessed this was a butler. The man was silent and seemed to be waiting patiently for them to get out of the limo.
"Yeah, make sure you tell em' to handle mine with care. It's fragile." Levvin said before climbing out of the limo after Hunny.
Once everybody was out of the vehicle, the butler closed the door. Hunny, Levvin, and Uneru looked around to get a look at the other guests who were already outside of their limos with their escorts. Though, they could only get a glimpse of reds and blues due to them having to meet Mr. Grayson as soon as possible.
Felix walked down the hallway towards the door that led out to the staircase in the grand hall. He fixed his sleeves and adjusted his overcoat as if he had been in a hurry putting it back on. He stopped to let two men behind him go pass him. He ran his left hand over his clipped up red hair before adjusting his tie.
"How do I look?" He asked the man on the right side of the door.
The man tilted his head to the side. "Fancy and professional as always, Mr. Grayson."
The escorts led the guests through the front door and had them wait for only a few moments before Felix Grayson came through the door upstairs. The grand hall was completely different from how old the outside of the mansion looked. The floor was the color of milk, the bars on the double staircase were brown and the color of gold, and the curtains that hung above the windows were scarlet. The curtains were neatly tied open to allow sunlight to pour into the room. Numbers of Kentia Palm plants sat quietly by the bottom and top of the stairs, against the walls here and there, and by the front doors.
"Hm, could use a woman's touch." Levvin said. He was joking because of how dramatic the entrance was.
Uneru looked at him sideways.
"Only kiddin', blondie!"
The door at the top of the stairs opened and almost immediately, the room became very tense. Felix Grayson stepped through the door and once he laid his eyes on his guests, his lips curled up into what seemed like a devious smile. "Welcome to my home. I am your host; Felix Grayson!" He gave a bow.
Felix only received a shrug or a nod from his guests. He wasn't really expecting a proper response and he wasn't going to be forceful with any of them. He didn't want to give them the same experience they had back in their territories.
"I know you each of you are very dubious of what little information you had been given whilst in your territories. I deeply apologize in advance, I wanted to tell you everything in person rather in the presence of your... um... supervisors. For I am aware, this way start..." Felix stopped, feeling he couldn't say that last word. Though, nobody had to ask to not know what it was. Turf wars were quite common in the city of havoc. However, this did leave his guests appalled.
Noah Rodriguez, a wolf like man standing next to a young man who had his focus on a rubix cube, seemed like he was going to turn into a wolf at any moment. "Felix Grayson! I knew it was you! Just what are you scheming this time, you murderer!" His eyes kept bleeding back and forth from brown to yellow.
"Nothing." Felix replied, putting his hands behind his back. "I am simply inviting each of you to play... a game with me."
Now this struck everyone's attention.
"W-what's this... game about?" Asked a blonde haired girl. She stood next to a silver haired girl who was around her age as her.
"This is a game of survival. And there's prize money if any surviv--" Felix was cut off by the blood boiling Noah.
"I don't want to be in any part of your horrific games!" Noah shouted, clinching his fists.
The devious smile from before appeared on Felix's face. He lowered his head, his eyes seeming to glint with malice. "Mr. Rodriguez," He began, "This isn't up for debate. You agreed to participate once you stepped through my doors."
Noah looked down, feeling defeated. Of course, there absolutely was nothing he could do. He simply could not say no. Felix Grayson was one of the most powerful men in the city of havoc. Turning back now would be a death sentence.
Felix raised his head, seeing he had already made his guests uncomfortable. He straightened himself up before continuing. "You have already been given the three most important rules, in which they will help you to survive the game. These "special rooms" are for those who break any of the most important. You will be tested to your limits. If you fail the test, you will not return to the house. You will either be returned to your Territory alive or... in a body bag."
Uneru turned his head and looked at Levvin, feeling uneasy. Levvin looked back, seeing the intense look on his friend's face. He didn't want to look around at the other guests because he knew if he did, he would have seen the same look on their faces. Levvin's eyes gazed down to the floor. What the hell did he get himself into?
"Please," Felix began, "Remember... the only way out is to go through. Do not make any U-turns. If you try, the consequences maybe severe. The game will last nine months. May God have mercy on your souls!" The man turned and raised his arms into the air at either sides just before going back through the door he came through.
Levvin's eyes wouldn't leave the floor. He was on the verge of tears. He had the look of utter terror on his face. He tightly gripped the hem of his blazer, starting to think why did he ever accepted to come here.
"Levvin?" Uneru asked, trying to get his attention. "Are you alright?"
Levvin found it hard to respond. Time seemed to slow.
A tall bulky man dressed in a black suit came down the stairs. Before introducing himself, he looked over his shoulders to make sure the door upstairs had been closed. "I know you're all feeling distressed after meeting your host, but I need all of you to listen; I am to escort you across the lawn to your temporary house. Nobody is here to harm you, but everything you do wrong will land you in one of Mr. Grayson's special rooms. My name is Daphne and I'll be your mom for the time being."
A male with blue pigtails laughed after hearing that, but it didn't faze Daphne.
"Laugh all you want." Daphne said, "One day it'll land you tied to a chair."
The blue pigtail male immediately quit laughing.
"If you'll kindly follow me," Daphne began as he passed through to lead them outside.
Everyone followed Daphne without delay. Several men in black suits followed them outside. Who were they protecting? The guests? Or were they there to keep them from running?
Daphne led everybody around the house and onto the path that was a lighter color than the lawn. Nobody said a word on the way to the house. The house was only a few yards away from the main house, so the walk wasn't long.
Daphne walked across the large porch and stopped at the door. Daphne turned to the guests behind him and said, "Before you enter, Mr. Grayson wanted me to let you all know something. Mr. Grayson has left each of you gifts in your rooms. You'll find your name on a board on the right side of your door so you won't get unconfused."
"It's not a bomb, is it?" The blue pigtail male asked his short friend, jokingly. The short pink haired girl laughed in response.
Daphne rolled his eyes. He would have to do his best to control his anger around that one. He opened the door and stepped inside.
Levvin, Hunny, and Uneru were the last people to go inside. The rest of the men in black suits stayed outside. Silently, they looked around the large living room. It seemed just about normal for a regular two story house, but of course it was nothing what they would have imagined.
Levvin placed his right hand on his hip, "The first thing I want to look at is my room."
"I'll go with you." Hunny said before following Levvin through the living room.
Levvin silently passed the couch, not wanting to socialize with anybody just yet. He climbed up the stairs to the second floor and went down the hallway. "Jeez, this place is bigger than I thought." He said to Hunny, "I might want to look around more, later." Levvin and Hunny continued down the hallway. They had already came across a few bedroom doors, but none of them had their names on the boards next to them.
"Wait, where's Uneru?" Levvin asked, looking back. He had only just realized Uneru wasn't with them.
"He wanted to check out the kitchen." Hunny replied.
"Hmmp, I'm hungry too." Levvin replied before finally seeing Hunny's name on a board. "Hey, I think we found our rooms!" He pointed at the board.
Hunny smiled and launched herself at the door. After pushing the door open, she almost cried with joy. The room was small, but livable. "I love it!"
Levvin looked inside her room and raised an eyebrow. He looked up, down, and around. "Ohh, I wonder what my room looks like." He turned and continued down the hallway to his door. Uneru's room was right across from his. Levvin opened the door and was immediately in awe, not expecting to see himself staring back at himself.
Across the room was a poster on the wall. On the poster was him posing seductively on the pole. Levvin let out an uncomfortable laugh. "Who the hell decorated this room?" Levvin went inside to look around more. There was a light brown colored dresser against the wall by the door, red curtains covering the window, a mirror next to the poster, a nightstand and a bed that was on the other side of the room against the wall. It seemed this room had been decorated especially for him and it slightly made Levvin uncomfortable.
Levvin raised his right hand and set it on the back of his head and leaned on his leg. He wondered what exactly Mr. Grayson knew about him. Did he ask Neopolitan anything? It only took Levvin a moment to notice a black box tied with a red ribbon on the bed. This made Levvin instantly froze.
