Barry Chang couldn't stop beaming at Kavan for the rest of the reception, not even letting him go as he continued to engage Kavan in conversation. He even led Kavan to a group of tables and gestured that he sat down.
"You women can go ahead and do what you need, let me have a chat with Kavan first," Barry told his wife and daughter.
Sabrina looked at Kavan who seemed nervous but still ready to face whatever Barry has in store for him. He should be fine, she thought.
"Kavan, I hope you don't mind?" she asked him just to be sure. Kavan nodded slightly and pasted a small smile on his face.
"There's nothing to worry about, I'm not going to eat him up," Barry said and he slapped Kavan's back again. "He's a superhero as far as I know,"
Sabrina gave Kavan a 'I hope you don't mind' smile and walked away with her mother. It has been so long since they get to spend some time together.
