Over in Sabrina and Kavan's suite, Kavan had just woken up from his deep sleep feeling refreshed and strong. The emptiness he felt earlier was gone.
"How do you feel?" Sabrina asked, concerned. Although Dr Kaito had assured her that Kavan will be fine, she is still worried.
Kavan reached towards her and hugged her. It felt good to hug her and hold her.
"I am feeling good actually, serves me right for touching things I am not supposed to," he said ruefully.
Sabrina chuckled. She kissed him gently and he returned the kiss.
"Let's keep the touching to my body and you shall be fine," she teased him. He grinned and rubbed her back gently.
"I am sorry to worry you like this…I don't even know what I did to deserve you," he said. His self doubts over his very normal mortality came crowding back on him. How will he ever be good enough for Sabrina?
"You are exactly what I need and that is enough for me," Sabrina said.
