Dr Kaito came over almost immediately after Sabrina called him to help out Karen, the fox shapeshifter. He was so excited about meeting a fox shapeshifter for the first time in his life, he went up to stare at Karen which made her fear him.
He extended his hand to her, offering to shake her hands and at the same time, find out if he is able to help her. Karen looked at his hand suspiciously, as if he was offering her poison and looked to Sabrina for guidance. Sabrina nodded reassuringly.
Karen tentatively took Dr Kaito's hand and gripped his hands weakly.
"That's right, it's not like I'm here to harm you," Dr Kaito said. He shook her hand, gripped it tightly till she winced slightly then he released.
"You lost your bead," Dr Kaito said. "You only have a few hours more before you return to your form and a few more days before you die," he announced.
Sabrina and Karen blanched at this.
