The region south to the "Continents", known as "The Southern Archipelagos", consisted of four major and thirty-six minor island groups or archipelagos. Among these, "Ashija" was the smallest major archipelago.

It was a bright morning when a Wayfarer docked on the shores of "Garyu"—a major island of the Ashija archipelago.
The Wayfarer was gigantic in size. Its wings towered over the fishing boats, shading them. It had a flawless white coating with simple line-work design done in thick jet black lines on its sides. The symbol on the front of the ship however, stood out because of its yellow color. But none of it looked painted. It almost seemed like it was embedded into the metal.
