The mute abyssmen were already sent away to their labor duties by the guards clearing the pathways to the central plaza. The ivory hogs flailed their tusks in frustration caused by the noise of all the applauding and cheering of the crowd, unlike their masters who seemed even more satisfied.
"Pig-faced bastards," Finlock thought. "Makes you wonder who the real animals are."
Each of the five kneeling criminals—in front of the bulky, dark figures—were lined up like sacrificial animals, on top of the scaffold. The ironclad warrior stood behind the middle executioner, hands behind his back, under his flowing cape. The crowd grew louder, their anticipation growing thicker.
"The first one to hell is," the Dragon with the green cape announced. "Faren Freeze: The Steeltitan!"
