It was not as if Kinimi wasn't tough. She just got tired really quickly. Ryuzio figured the reason to be her Augmentskill. Flowing Ether through such a large body must be draining to her stamina. Doing it while fighting multiple Brights even more so.
Ryuzio returned his eyes to the Scavenger Chief, letting Kinimi rest. Where was Joy? He needed her to take care of Kinimi's forearm and hand. But it wasn't safe enough yet for her to reveal herself. She needed to stay hidden until Ryuzio beat Ixa.
The Bubbles in the hall drifted leftward, floating closer to the air around the scarlet-eyed Volant. Kinimi could've taken care of them all with her Voltaskill, but letting her rest to recover right now was more important to Ryuzio. He somehow had to beat the Liquabright Scavenger Chief by himself so that Joy could come out from hiding and heal Kinimi.
He'd figure out how to do it. He was smart.
