Kinimi was far too nimble in her human form compared to her true form, allowing her to leap out of the way of the fireball shot toward her by the Scavenger Chief. The fist-sized fireball of blue flames crashed down on the cobble she jumped away from, the sphere of glass at its core shattering into molten bits upon impact with the ground.
Kinimi stood after a roll, activating her Ethersurge, her soft tan skin glowing with a faint green light, a dozen glowing sparks zipping about her. With a body less than a quarter the size of her true form, flowing her Ether in this form was much more manageable to her, even though her lungs were heating up with every heavy breath she inhaled.
