Ryuzio slashed with a forearm to clear the dust in front of his face that rose from exploding rocky pillar he ran past. The shattered bits of rocks bounced off his body as he continued running, finally getting Lexnal into his range. Ethersurge weakening, he decided to punch without enhancing it.
"I warned you, kid," Lexnal shouted. "It's useless!" The Leeches shot out purple blasts of Ether at Ryuzio.
Eyes wide, torso loose, Ryuzio twisted and turned, avoiding most blows, getting punched back by the last few. "Heh?" he said, confused as to why he could see those Leeches again.
"What!" Lexnal blurted as Ryuzio straightened. "How'd you even…" He gulped when his eyes fell upon his forearm, on the slimy creatures resting atop it. "They are visible by eyes again. Celd…" He sharply turned his head to the skyguard with brown hair. "What happened—?"
