Ulrak recharged his Ether, sucking in the multicolored light that shone brilliantly at the core of the gemspheres that he held. Neat little things, these balls of glass, each bearing a heart of pure lucentum crystal, packing the Sky Energy, which pulsated within them like a heartbeat.
Ulrak wasn't a Halfbright like his best commander Dririn and he still was forced to use gemspheres to Amass Ether. It just showed how severe the health of Welkis was, Volants and Etherbeasts being the virus attacking it.
The gemspheres in his hand all had a red crystal within them, the light of which he just drained. Skymaster Nylbar had allowed an entire inventory of these rare redspheres to each individual Legion Master involved in Operation Welkis, handing them all ten spheres each.
