If this really was the headband boy Hotaro was talking about—the kid who'd teamed up with the traitor to take him down—then Tash knocking out the Treelord with one hit started seeming less impressive. Tash did have an Aspect advantage over the bigmouth, but even he didn't know it would make this big of a difference. Under Captain Embol Wunar, no one in their squad dared fight each other.
Now the man had left them in Imperos with the duty to maintain his presence. Dull business. That's why Tash was planning to overturn the Imperos underworld on its head with his mastermind plan. It required a Grandshrine, and now, one had opened its Gates practically next door. He wouldn't let all this bullspit distract him from that.
Not those skyguards fighting—and frankly winning—against the Petmakers. Not Hotaro, who was down for good—surprisingly. Not these random kids who call themselves Volants and just showed up out of nowhere.
