Walking through the path showed the three newcomers the aftermath of the struggle. Multiple desks were pushed out of the way, while some chairs were left broken. Tiny pools of blood were on the floor, drawing a trail to where the injured officers were. However, the floor was already being cleaned by the utility personnel.
They were led to one of the small rooms for interrogation. Normally, they would only have two officers and the person in here, but since Sinclair insisted on witnessing it, the inspector wouldn't turn him down. Not only was it quite a death wish, but there was simply nothing to hide.
