Chereads / Zombie Apocalypse: Infinite Fusion / Chapter 11 - Encountering the Wave of Zombies

Chapter 11 - Encountering the Wave of Zombies

Albert thought for a while then suddenly spoke to the two people beside him.

"I've done my research. If we're going to find my father, this is the only way!"

"That's the bad news. The good news is that E-class zombies usually rely on hearing to eat their prey."

"So, I think that as long as we don't make too much noise, these zombies won't be able to find us."

As soon as he said that...

Robert couldn't help but look at Albert and say, "That's true, but this road is too long. It's 500 meters. No matter how fast we are, it'll take us at least three minutes to get there."

"Can you guarantee that we won't make any noise during these three minutes?"

"Yes, that's why I'm still thinking of another plan," Albert said slowly.

While speaking, he looked at Robert and said, "Hey, brother, why don't you turn on your MP3 player and throw it at the highest volume? We can take this opportunity to run away."

"..."

Robert stared at Albert and said, "I don't care about anything else. I want to throw you to feed the zombies now."

Then, he grabbed Albert.

Phyllis saw all this and couldn't help but cover her mouth and laugh.

After fooling around for a while, Albert gently pushed Robert away. Then, he took a strand of his hair and let out a breath as if he had made a big decision.

"Okay, everyone. Relaxing time is over. Let's begin."

"Okay!"

"Okay!"

Robert and Phyllis nodded in agreement.

Then, the three of them walked into the corner together, sticking close to the wall.

Step by step, they walked towards the front of the road.

"Ta..."

"Ta ta..."

"Ta ta..."

A series of light footsteps sounded.

The surrounding zombies were still roaring and wandering aimlessly.

They had already seen zombies before.

However, when they saw themselves walking past the zombies on the street, their hearts were still pounding.

Gradually, the three of them walked five meters... ten meters... fifteen meters.

The surrounding zombies still didn't seem to be alarmed.

"Hooo..."

They let out a sigh of relief in their hearts.

With that, Albert and the other two felt relieved and started walking straight to the front of the street.

Under this relaxed atmosphere, the three of them were finally in the mood to observe their surroundings.

As three years passed, the rows of high-rise buildings on the street were in ruins.

There were dilapidated buildings, broken windows, and some of the high-rise buildings had signs of being burned down.

These were all traces left behind by the madness of the past city, which made people sigh.

At this moment, they looked at the shops that they passed by. They were all dilapidated, full of green vines and weeds.

The convenience stores among them had long been empty.

After all, three years had passed, and other than some of the more remote and dangerous small convenience stores, the rest of the convenience stores had long been emptied.

"Sigh..." Robert sighed softly.

Albert and Phyllis didn't say anything, but their expressions showed that they were in the same mood.

It could only be said that the arrival of the Apocalypse and survival had become the only goal of mankind!

They put down their heavy mood.

Soon, the three of them saw the end of the street, which was 20 meters away.

"Since all the zombies are gathered here, the road ahead should be much easier after this section," Phyllis murmured. She looked a little nervous.

The three of them thought the same thing.

Fifteen meters...

Eight meters...

Two meters...

Finally...

"Phew... I finally walked out. I thought it would be hard, but it's just like that."

Robert let out a light breath. His face immediately became a little proud.

However, at that moment...

There was only a small sound, but it was extremely ear-piercing in this quiet street.

Robert froze on the spot, looking at a beverage vending machine beside him. His foot suddenly stepped on a can.

Then, he turned his head away stiffly.

Albert and Phyllis also turned their heads.

The zombies on the street seemed to have sensed something. In an instant, they all turned to the three of them.

"Roar!"

Along with the roar of the zombie tide.

"Run!"

Albert shouted.

The three of them immediately turned around and ran.

The zombies were chasing the three of them.

Fortunately, E-class zombies reacted very slowly.

If they lost sight of their prey, they would wander aimlessly in the direction where their target disappeared.

That was also the warning.

Albert shouted again, "Use the corner!"

As his voice fell, the three of them immediately sped up and shuttled back and forth in the streets and alleys.

The tide of zombies surged.

After running for a few streets.

"Whew... whew... did I lose him?"

Robert supported his knees and panted heavily.

However, just as he turned his head, a roar sounded, and a bloody hand grabbed at him.

With a plop, he fell to the ground directly in front of the zombie.

It was at this moment, bang!

A muffled sound was heard, and the zombie's head was blown off by a metal baseball bat on the spot.

Robert opened his eyes and looked up at Albert in surprise.

"Hey, brother, now we're even." Albert held the baseball bat in his hand and smiled at him.

"F*ck." Robert seemed to be a little flustered. He grabbed Albert's hand and stood up. Then, he glanced at the zombie on the ground.

The white brains of the zombie flowed all over the ground, mixed with blood. It was disgusting.

However, the three of them only slightly changed their expressions when they saw this scene. After all, they had seen too many scenes like this during doomsday.

"Alright, we finally escaped from the tide of zombies."Albert looked behind him, and no zombies were chasing after them.

At the same time...

"Robert, are you okay? I saw that your leg is injured."

Phyllis's beautiful eyes moved. As she observed carefully, she immediately noticed Robert's scraped wound on the ground.

Robert looked at Phyllis and was about to refuse.

However, he was glared at by Phyllis and lost his temper.

Then, she squatted on the ground and took out the medicine box that she carried with her.

"With your scraped wound, if you don't treat it, it will definitely get infected. It might be a little painful. Bear with it!"

Phyllis reminded Robert.

Perhaps it was because both of them were present, Robert looked at the disinfectant and then at the two of them. He said confidently, "Don't worry, no matter what, I'm still a man. This small injury doesn't hurt at all."

But when Phyllis dipped the disinfectant into the wound and applied it.

"Ugh... ugh!"

Robert Lu's expression changed instantly. He almost cried out in pain and hurriedly covered his mouth.

"Don't scream. If I scream, zombies will come!"

An idea arose in his mind.

Then, Robert covered his mouth. He wanted to cry, but couldn't.

Seeing this, Albert raised his eyes and smiled. He said, "Robert, don't hold it in. If it hurts, shout it out."

Hearing this, Robert looked at him again and punched the ground with a strong look. "No, who said that? It doesn't hurt at all!"

However, before he could finish his words, Phyllis silently dipped a cotton swab into the medicine and applied it on his leg again.
