The barracks near the palace had been quiet for some time until the teleportation array suddenly activated. Everyone panicked a little and out of nowhere, Kassandra appeared. Her outfit was drenched in a mix of Blood, Sweat, and black substance that managed to melt off some of the fabric. She had been carrying someone and looked so ghastly almost like she would collapse anytime soon. It was the same for the other members of her party.
There was a lot that got teleported back compared to the original number of soldiers that Kassandra took with her. A lot of them were injured, some were dead and missing limbs, and one was just staring at his fingerless hands.
"Lady Kassandra!" Theodora had been staying in the barracks to train the soldiers who got shaken by the sight of their leader. Unfortunately, the moment Kassandra saw Theodora, she almost collapsed.
