"Then I'll use this place" Gideon replied and Kaiden only looked at him for a while before finally speaking. It seems like he was waiting for Gideon to tell him but he didn't.
"What happened when I left you alone for a moment?"
Kaiden would beat around the bush. The moment he saw Gideon pale up and visibly shaking a little, he knew something happened to him.
'I mean, it was the same look you had when you thought I was... I was... going... to kill... you'
The Prince's train of thoughts went in different directions that he had to shake his head to dismiss them. They were irrelevant thoughts because the person in need of comfort wasn't him but Gideon.
Gideon bit his lower lip. There was so much happening earlier that he didn't want to worry Kaiden about it since it's supposed to be a happy day. But Kaiden still noticed and even though he was staying quiet about it.
