Chapter 1 - The power of hate

It's the 4th May of the Golden Dragon Continent in the Angora world.

In the backyard, a boy was playing with his toys. He wore a long Golden robe, and his White-eyes shone as he played with the toys, but just as his Golden - yellow hair was floating in the air. The young boy, who was about seven to eight years old, turned around. As he turned around, an old man approached him and looked at him with a serious look.

The old man wore an azure blue robe with a golden dragon on its back. His grey eyes lowkey shined as he looked at the boy.

The man then opened his mouth and spoke:

"Xavier. Come." As the old man spoke, he turned away from Jackson and walked towards an enormous door.

The boy then quickly stood up and followed the man without saying a word.

Arriving at the door, Jackson gulped as he opened the door.

'Today is finally the day.'

"Xavier." A middle-aged man said who sat at a table with four other people sitting behind them. Each had an ordinary aura and had an individual look on their face as they looked at the boy.

Each of those 4 wore a purple robe with a Golden dragon on their back just as the old man's robe.

But the man who sat in the middle of them wore something different. He wore a blood-red robe. At the bottom of the robe, five blue flames, and on his back was also the same Golden dragon.

"Father," Xavier said as his facial expression changed. Even though the man in front of him was his father, the last time he saw him was five years ago.

Xaviers father then nodded as three silhouettes appeared beside Xavier.

"Bring him." Xaviers father said coldly as a blue circle appeared on the ground, then mysterious runes appeared on the blue circle as Xavier disappeared from his father.

"Lord." The three silhouettes simultaneously spoke as they kneed in front of Xavier.

"Please follow us." One of the three said as it moved towards a dark room.

"Lord, once we arrive there, you have to go alone to the tribunal." The leading silhouette explained as a magic circle appeared on his palm, and a small flame appeared on his hand.

[Abhi Jval]

The small flame then began to shine lighter and lighter.

Even though Xavier was somewhat interested in the magic, he just shook his head, knowing what would wait for him in that room.

As they arrived at the door of the room, the leading silhouette then spoke.

"Lord, this is your part now. I hope you can fulfill the wishes of your father."

"…" Xavier didn't respond. He just opened the door leaving the three silhouettes behind.

'I will kill you one day.' Xavier thought as his anger grew and he stepped through the door.

As soon as he stepped into the room, he sat down and waited. Even though he was filled with anger, he sat down and tried to calm down. He waited for this day. Since he was young, he dreamed of this day.

Xavier looked around as he felt how a force was suppressing him. The force then slowly pushed Xavier down as he felt how several eyes were directly pointed at him.

The eyes then emerged from the darkness, and big figures flew out of the darkness. They were thousands of meters big and had countless scales on their bodies. Their eyes were filled with the power to destroy worlds and universes.

Their body looked formidable and empowering. Their beautiful scales looked shiny as scary; the aura that was surrounding them was somewhat mysterious. Their slow but loud breathing made them even more terrifying.

As Xavier looked at these creatures, shocked, he then backed up quickly. Closing his eyes, but even then, he couldn't help but shiver. The eyes of these creatures were much more terrifying than anything else he ever experienced.

His heart was beating faster, and his breathing got heavy; his throat slowly began to get dry.

"Young Boy, your heart." An old but dark voice said; as the voice sounded, the darkroom suddenly lightened.

"D-Dragons," Xavier said in an unsure tone; even though he had read something's about dragons, he couldn't help but admire them after all these mystical creatures were once the overlords of the universe and the symbol of his family.

"There's no need to be shocked." The dark voice answered again as it revealed the pairs of eyes that were looking at Xavier before.

And in an instant, 12 dragons surrounded Xavier.

"Look at this Little Boy."

"Hm… he's quite talented."

"Definitely."

"It's been quite a long time."

All of the 12 dragons began to speak like the dragon with the old and dragon voice spoke.

"Be quiet." And in an instant, the dragons stopped and backed up.

"Little boy tell me, how does it feel to be weak?"

"Huh?" Xavier thought as he looked surprised at the dragon.

"I know what happened now. Tell me. How does it feel to be weak?" The old dragon asked, and a smirk appeared on its face.

"I…"

"I know you want revenge, but how do you want to seek revenge with the weakness you have?" The old dragon continued asking as he noticed how Xavier hadn't an answer for him.

"I don't know," Xavier said ashamed, even though he wanted revenge, he had no plan nor any foundation. The only thing he had was hope.

"The revenge is nothing more than an act of trying to make you feel better.

However, that is something any normal creature would tell you.

But revenge is something more than that; it can be rather the downfall of someone or the rise. It can be hope or despair. It's a double-edged sword.

But not for someone who can truly do it. Someone capable of using the power of hate.

The power of hate." The old dragon explained as he looked down on the little Xavier.

"But you don't know how to use the power of hate."

"You are weak."

The old dragon said with a cold face, but just as Xavier felt bad and weaker than he already did, the old dragon smiled.

"But just because you don't know it doesn't mean you can't. Just because you are weak, it doesn't mean you can't get stronger.

Thus I shall give you the book of the dragon island."

The old dragon then explained as it disappeared, along with the other dragons.
