(??? POV)
"Ugh..." I slowly groaned. Smacking my lips together as I slowly but surely opened my eyes.
Then once I did I took a minute to adjust before I slowly started taking in my surroundings. Which were noticeably different than last time.
I also noticed any and all pain I felt the last time I was awake was not utterly and completely gone. It had vanished, not like it was not even there to begin with. Which allowed me to think much more clearly.
Leading me to the stunning realization that I had been reincarnated.
For now I know that the images that accompanied the pain in my mind the last time I was conscious were in fact actually memories.
Memories of a life of a completely different person, who died in a car accident after the tree he crashed into fell over and crushed him. Since they were not mine. Yet at the same time they are.
Put simply I am both that person and myself. We are now one in the same. A situation I should probably be freaking out about right now, but strangely I feel at peace. Like everything is as it should be.
I know its weird but that's just the way I feel.
As I came to terms with this I began going over my other set of memories, where key words stuck out to me.
Earthland, Fiore, wizards, dark guilds, etc..
All of this telling me I was now in the world of Fairy Tail.
One of my favorite series from my previous life that was filled with magic, monsters, and some of the best waifu in shounen, in my opinion, but on the flip-side it also had things like demons, slavery, and fucking insanely powerful individuals, not counting the main series final bosses Zeref and Acnologia. No I'm talking about people along the like Hades/Precht, the red-headed milf Irene, Gildarts Clive. All of whom I now live and share the same world with.
As I worked to process all of this I suddenly stopped when I heard a creaking sound coming from in front of me.
Turning my attention to it I saw the creaking sound was made from the door to the room being opened.
By none other than on Fairy Tail's founding members, and one of the Ishgar's continents Ten Wizard's Saint, and the fourth highest ranked among them putting him among the group known as the Four Gods of Ishgar, Warrod Sequen.
Looking at me after he opened the bedroom door he put a kind and gentle smile on his face. "Good, I see you're finally awake." He mused.
"Yes, I am." I replied without thinking.
"Well since that's the case I was wondering if you might feel up to having a chat with me young man? Over breakfast that is? Since I'm sure you must be quite hungry." Warrod spoke.
"I-Sure." I said. Not thinking to long about it.
Because if there is one thing I know is that out of the many inhabitants of the world of Fairy Tail Warrod is among the few that won't have any ill intentions toward me.
I hope.
Plus since I don't have any other options right now I'll have to trust this tree man.
So yeah.
"Okay, then please, follow me." Warrod spoke.
When he did I moved out of the bed I was in and followed him, the man closing the door behind us as we left.
We then started making our way through the halls of his home. Until eventually we arrived in the dining room. Where a full course breakfast was already ready and waiting on the table.
Leading my mouth to start salivating the moment I both looked at smelled it.
"Oh so I was right. You were hungry." Warrod spoke. His words knocking me out of my food induced trance.
Looking at him again I saw him with a smirk on his face.
One which I chose to ignore as I took my seat at the table, Warrod doing the same.
"Well, dig in." He said.
"Don't mind if I do." I replied.
I then wasted no time in filling my belly.
Until eventually Warrod and I had cleared all the food from every plate on the table. Both of us sporting smiles on our faces after we were done eating.
"Looks like someone enjoyed the food?" Warrod questioned.
"Yes, I did." I replied. "Thank you." I said.
"Oh, it's no trouble at all young man." Warrod said. He then put a somewhat serious expression on his face. "But now that your belly is full and your body is rested I was wondering if you might answer some questions I have for you?"
"I'll do so to the best of my ability." I replied.
"Excellent." Warrod said. "So first off, can you tell me your name?" He asked.
"Sure, its..." I trailed off. But only because I happened to catch my reflection in one of the windows, now that some of the clouds outside had moved away.
A reflection that showed a young child with grey hair and turquoise-colored eyes. One that I recognized. Since it was the spitting image of a character named Alhaitham from a game called Genshin Impact in my previous life.

Then immediately after I recalled this I also recalled my name in the world of Fairy Tail.
Alhaitham.
'So, not only do I look like Alhaitham, but my name is also Alhaitham.' I thought.
Coincidence?
I think not.
All I can say is the universe has a pretty strange sense of humor.
But I can't say dislike it. Given that all the characters in Genshin Impact were mostly handsome men or super cute and hot woman. Alhaitham not being an exception to this rule. So now that I look like him I'll grow up to look exactly like he did in the game.
Nice.
Especially since I wasn't handsome in my previous life. No, I was average looking at best.
Even my name was pretty average, it being-
Wait, what was my name in my previous life?
As I tried to recall it my mind came up blank. Same with most of the details surrounding my previous life. Like the names and faces of my family and friends, or what kind of job I had.
In fact all I can really recall clearly from my previous life is information regarding the world of Fairy Tail, other fictional media like anime, videogames, and manga, and other non-personal facts.
'Strange' I thought.
"Young man, are you okay?" Warrod asked.
When he did I snapped out my train of thinking. "Ah, yes. Yes I am." I replied. "Sorry, got lost in thought there for a moment." I explained.
"No problem." He said. "But again, your name?" He asked.
"Right." I replied. "It's Alhaitham. Alhaitham Dendro." I spoke.
Well, now it is since I just gave myself Dendro as a last name. Since I just recalled the Alhaitham of this world that I have now become didn't have a last name, given that he was an orphan who never knew his parents.. So I decided to give him, I mean myself one.
Nothing more and nothing less.
"Understood. And what a fine name that is." Warrod said.
"Thank you." I replied. "And since I gave you mine name I was wondering if I can have yours?" I asked.
"Sure." Warrod replied. "It's Warrod Sequen." He said. Even though I already knew that.
But it's not like I can say that.
"Nice to meet you then Mr. Warrod." I spoke. Doing my best to act similar my now physical age.
Which I'm pretty sure is about six or seven years old.
"The same to you young Alhaitham." Warrod replied. "Alright so next question. Do you recall how you ended up in that situation I found you in?" He asked me.
"I...Yes, I do." I replied.
Suddenly finding myself overwhelmed my the memories of the original Alhaitham of this world.
Like I said earlier, he was an orphan who never knew his parents. He was raised in an orphanage in a small village, and lived a pretty ordinary life. Until his village was attacked by a dark guild. During which time Alhaitham managed to awaken his previously unknown power of magic. Though it wasn't enough to save him or his village. However his display of magic was enough for the dark guild to kidnap him instead of kill him so they could implant into his body a powerful lacrima they found, which contained ancient and powerful magic they couldn't identify. So they used the original Alhaitham as a guinea pig, which is most likely when he died and the two of us merged and became one.
Remembering all this I couldn't help but start shedding tears and feeling anger and fear. The original Alhaitham's strong emotions associated with those particular memories having a great affect on me. Making it extremely difficult to recount the events to Warrod. However I managed do so.
After which Warrod began comforting me.
"My child, I'm oh so sorry you had to go through all that. Truly, I am." Warrod spoke in a comforting voice.
"Thank you Mr. Warrod. Thank you." I replied. Finally calming down "So um, what happens now?" I asked. "Are you going to remove the lacrima that dark guild implanted in my body?"
Warrod shook his head. "No. Because doing so now would surely kill you. Given that the magic of the lacrima itself has integrated with your own innate magic power. The two turning out to have been highly compatible from what my own examination of your body has told me."
"Oh, so does this mean I now have access to the lacrima's magic?" I asked.
Warrod nodded. "You do." He replied.
"I see." I said. "So ah, what kind of magic is it?" I asked.
Since despite how I obtained it I'm not going to look this kind of gift in the mouth. Especially in the world of Fairy Tail where might basically makes right.
"The lacrima inserted inside of you has given you access to a lost-type of caster magic. Which name is Wood God Slayer Magic." Warrod revealed.
