Chapter 252 - Ch 39 - The Elves

Aside from the ten humans, six more entities were also present in the hall, taking a seat.

They had human-like features but aside from that, each one of them was extremely handsome and beautiful with long pointy ears.

They belonged to the Elf Tribe!

The Elves are an ancient race, they existed even earlier than the humans in this world.

The Elves were the favored race of nature, they could merge with nature and easily used any ability of the Nature Attribute. They didn't have Heavenly Jewels like humans, only the power to control nature.

"How is life treating you here, Elders?" Jason raised his head and asked with a polite smile.

"Haha... it has only been a year and a half since we shifted to the Heaven and Earth Sect. But we can clearly see the answer to why Her Majesty agreed with your request to move the tribe here. It has been very peaceful and we don't have to be wary of humans entering this space since so many powerhouses live here."

One of the figures among the elves spoke calmly.

"I'm very happy to hear it. If you have any discomfort or need, feel free to ask. I will do my best to accommodate it..." Jason smiled.

The Elder shook his head while caressing his beard. "Haha... Thank you for your kind words, Sect Master. But you've already done so much for us. We don't need anything at the moment."

"Daddy!!"

While the elders were discussing the sect's matters, a clear loud voice suddenly resonated in the air.

Everyone paused what they were doing and raised their head to see a fair little girl running into the hall and jumping in Jason's lap.

The little girl appeared to be very young, about six to seven years old. Her pink face was flushed and dewy, looking entirely succulent. She had bright huge eyes with long powder-blue hair cascaded behind her shoulders. She also had two pointy little ears protruding out from her hair and a pair of transparent wings behind her back.

The little girl was simply just too cute.

Jason couldn't help but smile sweetly as he patted her head. The girl had a natural aura around her that brought a soothing feeling to everyone who looked at her.

The Elven Elders saw the little girl and had an ugly expression on their faces as one of them spoke.

"Princess, please don't disturb Sect Master. Come here and sit in my lap."

The little girl shook her head and held the corner of Jason's robes.

"No. I like sitting in Daddy's lap. Daddy, daddy, what brings you for me this time?" She asked Jason.

Jason smiled and asked. "Then what did you want, my little grandma?"

"I want candies!" The little girl spoke excitedly, throwing her hands in the air.

Jason couldn't help but pinch her cheeks, asking. "You eat so many candies. Aren't you worried that your Mom will beat us both?"

"Hehe... Since Daddy is here. Mom will not do anything." The girl giggled.

Jason shook his head and snapped his finger as dozens of candies appeared in thin air, floating in front of the little girl.

She excitedly grabbed them and put one of them into her mouth, sitting in his lap with no care.

Maybe, she would be the only person in the entire world who would dare to sit in the lap of the Strongest expert in front of so many experts.

Jason patted her head and addressed the elders. "I gather so all here to announce that we will be pausing the process of recruiting disciples for a few years and focusing on improving our strength."

"But why is that, Sect Master?" Yi Shi asked curiously.

The Heaven and Earth Sect was a rather new Saint Lands, still in its expanding phase. Even if it had a large number of resources, it still lacked disciples. So, it seemed unnecessary for them to stop the recruitment just like that.

Jason looked at everyone's expression which resembled Yi Shi's curiosity. He smiled and said.

"We can only protect the disciples when we ourselves are strong enough. Soon, the entire Boundless Mainland would be plunged into chaos and disarray and a massive war would break out. We have the strength to protect the Heavenly Bow Empire but if we want to expand more, we need to reveal our cards for everyone to see. So, to prevent that, we will train the disciples and let them join in this war. We don't need to go all out, just need to do enough to show them our might."

Everyone showed a rich expression, listening to his words.

Nobody doubted his words since whatever he had told them turned out to be true in the end.

Jason glanced at Eleven Elders and addressed them. "As promised, no one from the Elves has to participate in this war. We will not involve your tribe in our own mess."

"Thank you, Sect Master. With your reassuring words, we're satisfied."

Jason nodded his head and turned to Hua Feng, commanding. "Tell our spies to keep their ears and eyes peeled open for any important information. Also, increase the disciples on the lookout for any intrusion."

"I'll send the orders immediately." Hua Feng nodded his head and vanished from the hall.

Jason turned to the little girl, carrying her in his arms as he said. "Let's go and pay a visit to your mother."

"Okay," The little girl nodded her head cutely.

Jason stepped out of the hall and his figure blinked, disappearing into the thin air.

No one was surprised to see that, rather they started discussing their future course of action according to Jason's suggestions.

On the other hand, the small orb floating at the top of the Heaven and Earth Sect was actually the core space assigned to the Elves by Jason.

It was covered by a powerful spatial law with the power to redirect and reflect all sorts of damage back to the attacker.

In the middle of the core space stood a large ancient tree that was about three hundred meters in height and around two hundred meters in diameter. It had an azure green trunk as if it was carved out of emerald.

The huge tree canopy spread through the air like a huge platform. At first glance, one could clearly see the clear green fog that was gleaming with steam on top. That was the essence of the Life Energy.

Every leaf and branch appeared to be so crystal-clear and transparent and the branches hung low all over the place like a waterfall. The rich breath of life made the entire place look as if one was in a dream.

This was the Ancient Tree of Life!
