Every 2-3 years, Jason organized a gathering where he assembled all of his subordinates, to make sure nobody had any problem.
Goto Ryuji learned about it and paid a visit to Matsumoto Shigeo at his office.
"Are you sure this news can be trusted?"
Matsumoto Shigeo asked with a serious expression to which Goto Ryuji nodded his head.
Matsumoto Shigeo lit up a cigar and took a deep breath, thinking of something. After a few seconds, he opened his eyes with a sparkle in them.
"How confident are you?..."
Goto Ryuji closed his eyes for a moment before replying. "If one of the Vice-Masters would be present then it will be a close call but since both of them are leaving, I can easily deal with others."
Matsumoto Shigeo smiled at his words, clenching his fists. "Good. Then we'll use this God-sent chance to finish them. Even if both of them will come back, the Twin Dragon Guild will be finished by then. By that point, we both will rule the entire Japan. Hahaha..."
Goto Ryuji chuckled, asking. "What will be the plan? We can't just attack them..."
"Hehe... I know. Do you think I'm a fool?" Matsumoto Shigeo grinned viciously. "There is a famous saying: Whatever happens in the Dungeon stays in the Dungeon!"
Goto Ryuji raised his eyebrow and grinned, understanding the deeper meaning of the President's words.
After finalizing the details, now the duo just had to wait for Long Sha and Duan Jian to leave.
Goto Ryuji shared their mission with the S-rank hunters who were going to participate in this raid, informing them of all the details...
"Kanae, what do you think about the plan?" A young woman with light orange-brown hair asked as she sucked a lollipop.
"What do you mean? We have to follow orders. If we ambush them according to the plan, all of them would definitely die." Kanae replied with her usual serious face.
Akari giggled and said. "I know. But I think we should consider it again. We are talking about dealing with a guild that is supported by the Paradise Group and even has the World's Strongest Hunter at its helm. It will be one hell of a gamble."
"I know that. And I'm also a little scared but we have to do it." Kanae said with a very serious expression.
"You're right. Let's wish for the best." Akari replied as the duo made their way to the training ground.
"You go head first. I'm going to refresh myself." When they reached the training place, Kanae said to Akari who giggled and teased her. "Don't take too much time. We will not wait for you."
"Yeah, yeah," Kanae waved her hand as she made her way to the washroom.
She entered a stall and closed the door before she took a phone and dialed a number.
"It's me!" She reported when she heard that the call had been picked up by the other party.
It was impossible to make out the words spoken from the other side.
"They are on the move and ready to strike," Kanae said and waited for the other party to speak. "Yes. It's code Red!"
"I got it." Kanae nodded her head. "Yes, I'll be ready."
She cut her off as her eyes sparkled with a dark glint, completely different from her usual demeanor.
Washing off her hands, she returned to the training ground, joining others in the session.
A few days later, in front of a large gate hovering in the air, a group of hunters were gathered along with the members of the Association.
They were observing their watches, a little anxious, maybe waiting for someone.
*Tap* *Tap* *Tap*
At the exact moment, a series of footsteps sounded.
Looking ahead, everyone saw a group of people exiting cars, draped in gears as they approached them.
Masashi Kishimoto, the young man in the lead wielding two katans, was a proficient S-rank hunter. He cut through monsters like they were tofu with his powerful twin-blade talent.
"You guys are late." Goto Ryuji said, clearly displeased with them.
Masashi Kishimoto smiled, ignoring his rude words. "Nope. We're on time."
Flashing his phone screen in front of Goto Ryuji's face, Kishimoto continued. "There is still a minute left before the raid will commence."
"You!..." Goto Ryuji was enraged, glaring at him. But then he thought about their plan to eliminate them and calmed down.
"Hmph! Since your Vice-guild masters are absent, I presume it will be no trouble for me to assume the leader position in this raid."
Kishimoto smiled. "Please, by all means."
Goto Ryuji stared at his face before he turned around and returned to his group with a ruthless smile lingering on his face.
But Goto Ryuji failed to notice a cruel smile at the corner of Masashi Kishimoto's face as he watched Goto's back.
Since all the hunters were veterans, they formulated a plan very quickly and stepped inside the gate.
When the last hunter also entered the gate, it happened then.
The gate vibrated, shivering before its color changed, turning into scarlet red.
It caught everyone by surprise as all the members outside were left shell-shocked by it.
But it's already too late since all the hunters have disappeared inside the dungeon.
One of them instantly took out his cell phone to inform his superiors.
While it was happening outside, the hunters found themselves in the middle of a giant arena.
Looking around, they all saw hundreds of black shadows sitting in the arena, watching them with interest.
"What the..."
"What is this place?"
"Who are these things?!"
"I don't know. But their auras are very strong..."
While the members of the Draw Sword Guild were giving various comments, the Guild Leader Goto Ryuji was trembling in fear, his forehead and back drenched in a cold sweat.
Staring at a spot, he couldn't close his mouth at all, just standing in a spot, scared shitless.
The first to notice that state of Goto Ryuji was a young man with short and messy orange hair, glasses, dark eyebrows, and freckles under both eyes.
"G-Guild Master?" He called out to him but to no avail.
Following Goto's line of sight, he saw three figures which sent a shiver down his spine as he also began to tremble, falling on his knees.
This action surprised everyone so they also followed their line of sight before following their example.
"W-Why...?"
"What are you doing here?"
