Ye Ziyun returned to her courtyard in the City Lord's mansion.
"Yan'er, you're back."

Usually, Ye Zong would have forbidden his daughter from going to a young man as a father in fear of someone taking advantage of her but since he knew that Nie Li and Ye Ziyun's teacher were the same person, he just let her do whatever she wanted. Spending time with a genius would benefit his daughter's future.
And there were also guards protecting her from the shadows.

Ye Zong and Ye Shuo left quickly, in a hurry to discuss further on Jason's teachings.

Jason stayed at the library and saved all books left from past eras that were yet to be translated into LoHP to help the Glory City. The more favors he owed to others, the more he could take advantage later.
Jason was not a selfish person but he wasn't also a saint. All the showing off and everything that he did was to gain status.
Status and the power to put forward his words!
If he had just concealed himself then he could have done many things but then his words would not hold any value but now...
He could even tell Ye Zong to do things for him, his status may not be equal but not low too.
The entire day passed just like that.
After returning to the mansion, Jason undid his disguise.
'Damn! It is so much weird to act like a teacher in front of those brats.'
He first took a nice bath to clean himself before preparing a meal. The quantity of beast meat in his inventory was enormous, enough to feed Glory City for at least the next ten years. Rather than wasting it, he had to store it in inventory where it would never get spoiled because time stopped in his inventory and the items were even nourished with heavenly energy, making them taste even better.
Finishing his dinner, he created ten clones of himself so he could write down the translated versions of the books he stored back in the library, making the job even easier.
He had left one of his clones for the past two weeks in the mansion, which was cultivating the law of Space and Time.
Soon, the books were finished. But he still held them, thinking about what to ask in return for doing this.

"Teacher, c-can you help me?" Xiao Ning'er asked, her eyes already wet with tears.
When Jason observed her technique just now, he found out immediately that she was ill, suffering from Arctic Disease so he told her that. At first, she was convinced but when he shared the symptoms of the illness with her, it shocked her. In the end, the effect of the illness on her body left her in despair.

"I..." Xiao Ning'er was momentarily dazed. It was not something secret with everyone in the Glory City aware of it but it was still like a chain binding her heart.

It's still young, but at least it would give girls time to grow, to understand themselves, and prepare for such decisions.
His gaze softened as he looked at Ning'er, seeing the desperation in her tear-streaked face. How badly must she want to escape this engagement? His expression darkened as he thought of Shen Fei. If what she says about him is true, then he's nothing but scum. I'll have Ye Shuo investigate him. And if he truly is as vile as she claims, I'll ensure he won't have the chance to harm anyone else.
Patting her head, Jason continued. "Don't worry. There are still two years. If a kingdom can change hands in one night then why can't you break your curse? You first focus on your health. Soon, Jason had finally gone through the situations of all the students. A few of the commoner students didn't have any proper cultivation techniques so he imparted them with a basic cultivation technique created after reading through the books in the library in his meantime.
Even though it was basic but it was still many times better than most of the techniques currently practiced by many in the Glory City...

Jason closed the book and gestured to the students.
