"Hunter-nim, what happened to your clothes? Did you just return from a dungeon?"

Jason went to the Hunter's Association to talk with Go Gunhee about the gate incident.

Go Gunhee was very enthusiastic to meet him. But then the experienced man realized that the young man's clothes were covered in blood.

"Yeah. A dungeon break almost occurred in my sister's school."

"What?" Go Gun-Hee slammed the table when he heard that. "Is your sister all right?"

"I'm at her school at that time so I took care of everything before anyone could die." Jason sighed and told him everything that happened. "I heard you have something important to discuss with Jin-Woo. As he's busy recently, you can tell me."

Go Gunhee sighed and said, "Well, I should have known something like that could happen."

"Excuse me?" He faked a confused expression.

Seeing the young man's confused expression, the Association President pulled out his phone and showed him its display. It showed a graphical chart.

"This shows the increase in the Gate activity around the city of Seoul for the last six months."

The dots drew a gentle curvature but when it got nearer to the present, it suddenly spiked up steeply.

"And this side shows the stats from around the world."

If the Association President hadn't made that clear, Jason might have mistaken them for two of the exact same thing. That was how similar-looking the inclines in those two graphs were.

"The number of Gates appearing has spiked up noticeably throughout the world."

Go Gun-Hee's complexion got darker and darker.

"However, that isn't the only strange thing."

He returned the phone into his inner jacket pocket and carried on.

"People wanting to confirm their Awakened rankings are practically lining up in a long queue outside the Association every day now."

A smile formed at the corner of Jason's face as he realized what was going on.

'So, it's finally starting... I should make my preparations too. I almost forgot about this.'

"It seems you realize it too... Something is changing."

"The end is arriving close," Jason muttered.

"Uh? What do you mean by that, Hunter Jason?" Go Gunhee asked.

Jason stared at the old man and said. "Attend the meeting tomorrow and you'll get all of your answers."

"Meeting?"

"I'm having a meeting with all the high-ranking hunters tomorrow so make sure to attend it," Jason said before taking his leave, leaving the old man puzzled.

...

Jason pushed open the office's door and entered inside.

"Hyung-nim, is everything alright? You seem worried before." As soon as he entered, Jin-Ho asked worriedly.

"Hah, it's nothing. I just remembered something important to do, that's all."

Jin-Ho took a sigh of relief after learning that there was nothing big happened.

As they were chatting, the office's door was pushed open again and Jin-Woo entered the premises.

"Oh, you're back!"

"Welcome back, Hyung-nim."

Jason and Jin-Ho greeted him.

"I'm back. The raid finished ahead of schedule." Jin-Woo said in a sad tone.

"It's because you finished the boss rather quickly, right?"

"Hehe..."

Jin-Woo scratched the side of his face embarrassingly after Hyung caught the reason behind it.

It was then.

"Oh my gosh!! You were telling the truth!"

The surprised voice of a woman came from Jin-Woo's side.

Jason and Jin-Woo turned around to find Yoo Soo-Hyun exiting the conference suite with a pair of very large eyes staring back at him.

"You're Jin-Ho's cousin, right?" Jason asked with a smile.

"Yes, Hyung-nim. it's her."

"Ah, where are my manners?" Jason smiled lightly and extended his hand out. "My name is Jason, a member of this guild. It's nice to meet you."

"Oh, come one, Oppa~, No need to act as strangers. Everyone here is family." Soo-Hyun giggled and hugged him.

"Uh? W-What... What is going on?" Jin-Ho was puzzled, rubbing his head in confusion.

Soo-Hyun giggled and explained. "Didn't I tell you that I changed my company? Let me introduce you to my new boss..."

Pointing at Jason, she smiled. "Mr. Jason Dragneel. The chairman of Paradise Entertainment!"

"What?!" Yoo Jin-Ho was startled, staring at Jason with mouth agape. "Hyung-nim, you never told me..."

"Well, I never think it's necessary..." Jason smiled at Jin-Ho before giving a playful spank to Soo-Hyun's ass. "Shall we finish the papers first?"

"Yes, Boss~..." Soo-Hyun whispered sensually, gently nibbling her lower lips.

Jin-Woo watched them but didn't dare to comment, thinking about what he saw a few days ago at Jason's villa...

After the contract was done, Yoo Soo-Hyun approached Jin-Woo and asked.

"Uhm, excuse me…"

"Yes? Is there something you'd like to ask?"

Soo-Hyun showed his phone and asked with a sweet smile.

"Can we take a selfie together? I wish to upload it to my SNS profile."

Jin-Woo glanced at Jason once before nodding his head. And with four of them together, Yoo Soo-Hyun took a selfie.

Before leaving, she whispered to Jason that she missed him and wanted him to pay a visit to her.

Jason promised her and kissed her lips when Jin-Ho was not paying attention.

...

Standing before a rank A Gate for the first time in his life, Jin-Ho's bulging eyes were trying to look up at the top of this enormously tall Gate.

"Heok…"

He needed to look really high up just to barely spot it.

"Hey, Jin-Ho? Your jaw will come loose if you keep doing that."

"Sorry? Ah, yes. My bad, Hyung-nim. It's just that, I've never seen a Gate this big before."

Jin-Woo smirked softly to himself.

Today only Jin-Woo and Jin-Ho were going to participate in the first of their new guild.

A few hours earlier

"Hyun-nim, are you really not going to participate in our first raid?!"

Jin-Woo asked Jason. Go Gunhee had passed the regulation to acknowledge the summons as the raid team members, giving privilege to Ahjin's Guilds.

Today, Ahjin Guild will participate in their first raid as a guild.

"Huh, and what should I do by participating in it when you're going to have all the fun?!" Jason stared at him. "You and Jin-Ho would be enough."

"But Hyung-nim... I mean you always accompany me back then."

"Back then, you're just an idiot who just received his new powers. So, I have to look after you. But now you can take care of yourself."

"Okay, Hyung-nim."

Jin-Woo sighed and felt a little sad but when what his big brother said was correct so he didn't insist anymore...
