A few days later in a restaurant

"Hyung-nim, I finished my 'Job Change' Quest and got the Shadow Monarch job!" Jin-Woo happily reported to Jason as he always informed him, even if there was a minute change in the quest or the system, letting him clear his doubts.

"Oh, finally I'm bored of waiting for it." Jason stretched his muscles and smiled.

"You know about it, Hyung-nim?"

"Yep. Didn't I tell you before...? Anyway, anything else happened?"

"Ah, yeah. Jin-Ah's teacher asked a favor." Jin-Woo scratched his head.

"Jin-Ah's teachet?" Jason tilted his head in confusion. 'What did a school teacher want from us?'

Jin-Woo continued. "Actually, there is a girl who recently awakened and got the lowest E-rank but she wants to become a hunter despite that. So, the teacher wants me to advise her and let her finish her studies at least."

"Hmm, it sounded really familiar to someone I know." Jason chuckled as he stared at Jin-Woo.

"Hehe..." Jin-Woo scratched the side of his head dumbly.

Jason stood up and said. "Alright. Ask her address from Jin-ah. We'll let her join the raid that I had saved a spot on for you."

"Okay," Jin-Woo nodded his head.

...

Jason and Jin-Woo arrived at the high-end villa area where Jin-Ho was waiting for Jin-Woo.

As he stepped out of the car, Jin-Ho quickly handed the keys to him.

"Hah, so you called the little brother. Why disturb him for such a small matter?" Jason said as he also stepped out.

Jin-Ho raised his head and greeted Jason with a warm smile.

"It's good, Hyung-nim. There is no trouble at all."

"That's good then. So, how are you doing?" Jason asked as he patted his shoulder.

"I'm doing great."

"Shall we get going then?" He turned to Jin-Woo and asked.

They then got into the van and went to Han Song-Yi's place according to the address Jin-Woo asked from his sister Jin-Ah.

When they arrived, Jason let Jin-Woo talk with her while he waited inside the van.

Soon, they also entered the van. Song-Yi was surprised to see Jason in the van.

"Uh? Who is this Ahjussi?"

"He? He is my Hyung-nim!" Jin-Woo made a quick introduction.

Jason greeted the young woman with a polite smile.

Jin-Woo drove the van to the location where the Guild was holding its training.

Meanwhile, Han Song-Yi asked them questions regarding Jinah from the passenger seat. They chatted about this and that, and eventually arrived near the vicinity of the Gate. Jin-Woo stopped the van.

*Screech*

The three of them exited the van.

Jason and Jin-Woo scanned the surroundings and immediately picked up on the overflowing amount of eerie, creepy chill in the air.

Han Song-Yi got a bit scared by the eerie atmosphere of the place, but after spotting the group of Hunters in the distance, regained most of her self-confidence back.

The way her eyes sparkled, it was as if she had just run into a supercelebrity or something.

'Oh well. They are Hunters from the super Guild, The Paradise, so it can't be helped.'

To a high schooler who yearned to become a real Hunter, those people would be no different than actual celebrities, no?

"Oh, so you all are here."

Ahn Sangmin, one of the chiefs quickly ran over to Jason and Jin-Woo after discovering him.

"Secretary Ming has informed me about you guys! Ah, so this young woman is her?"

"Hello there."

Han Song-Yi lowered her head in greeting.

While they were saying 'hellos' in this fashion, a big muscular guy sauntered over and spoke in an irked tone of voice.

"Let's stop with useless chatter and get started already. We didn't come here for a picnic, and it's almost 9 PM."

The muscular guy didn't even wait for the response and walked back towards the Gate.

Something didn't feel quite right with that guy, so Jin-Woo asked Ahn Sangmin.

"Who was that?"

"Oh. He's one of our new recruits. He's ranked A, actually. He must have been feeling a bit unhappy after I asked him for his understanding earlier. He even asked me if I thought that going to a dungeon was a fun pastime or something. If not because it's the decision of the Guild Master, he must have made a big fuss."

"He's a rank A?"

Ahn Sangmin nodded his head, thinking that such a reaction was reasonable, coming from a proud rank A Hunter like that guy.

"When can we enter?"

Still utterly oblivious to Jin-Woo's real intentions, Han Song-Yi began whining already. When Jin-Woo and Jason took a look at her, her expression showed how pumped up she was.

They had the same thoughts in their heads. 'Let's see how long you can keep that up.'

Jason spoke to Ahn Sangmin. "We'll be on our way now. It's best not to piss off an A-rank hunter."

"Ah, yes. Wait, hold up for a second, please."

Ahn Sangmin sneaked a glance around him and then whispered something to Jin-Woo's ears.

"Uhm, excuse me, Sung Jin-Woo Hunter-nim. Secretary Ming told me things about you. You see, if you decide to step in, today's raid will become too easy, so please, refrain from doing anything in there. Please?"

Since Jin-Woo's purpose today was to simply observe, obviously he wouldn't enter the fray.

"I won't step in unless things will get sideways."

Jason, Jin-Woo, and Han Song-Yi approached the Gate. Unlike that rank A hunter, some people welcomed the trio rather happily.

"Hello."

"Nice to meet you."

But when it was the turn of the rank A Hunter…

"I don't care."

He simply walked inside the Gate.

"Well, let us get going as well."

The new recruits of the Paradise Guild also began entering the gate one by one.

Before Han Song-Yi entered, she turned her head to look at Jin-Woo.

"What about you, ahjussis?"

Jin-Woo crossed his arms and replied to her.

"After we see you enter first."

Han Song-Yi's face was stiff with nervousness, but she still resolutely nodded her head and jumped into the Gate.

'Hmm….'

Jin-Woo took a quick breath and stood before the Gate. He sensed someone looking at him, so turned around to confirm, only to spot Ahn Sangmin over yonder, waving at him and cheering him on.

'...…'

Something was off here.

Jason had seen through him and knew what would be going to happen so he quickly jumped into the gate.

Sure enough, just as he did, Jin-Woo touched the surface of the gate and realized something.

But since he knew that the Guild Master, the strongest hunter in the world was with them into the gate, he also jumped inside the gate before the gate would close.
