Chapter 1 - Note to Self

The ground felt heavy and wet as Eva had found herself lost in the middle of nowhere. She couldn't identify her surroundings and began searching for a galactic signal. She raised her device in the air finding that there was no signal to be found. She then dragged her sluggish form out of the wet puddle, revealing her defined curvy body. Feeling too wet, she unravels her limbs as they each split open to inhale CO2 that emitted in the air.

"Eva, Eva too cold.." Her arm whimpered, making her shutter. They have never been to such a place as this planet. Originally they were headed for their 2nd neighboring planet Mercury but wounded up on earth instead.

"We need to find shelter. Crura find the closest form of shelter." She said looking down at her legs. She felt her crura tingle and began marching north. As she walked, she noticed that the temperature went up from when she was in the water, finding it more suiting against her skin. She looked down at her hands and her eyes lit up.

"Lucem producam!" She said. Her hand emitted a greenish glow that lit up to at least a mile from where she was.

"Caleb, you see that light down there?" Lewis had said, eyes squinted with his hand cuffing over his eyes. He felt allured by the color and probed Caleb to follow along.

"It's so bright and colorful, we should check it out." Lewis said, marching down from the hill. They continued south towards the light and became curious as to what it was.

Eva who was close to exiting the humid forest felt a presence coming towards her and instinctively hid her true form.

"Hello, is anyone here?" The voice said. Two male species came from behind a tree, revealing themselves. She felt a bit cautious of them but remained calm. Maybe they could get her out of this place. And she wouldn't hesitate to have their heads if they tried anything weird so sh proceeded with outmost caution.

"Wow, I love your costume. Is it vintage?" Lewis asked as he examined her. His eyes creased in perversion as he watched her curvy form. Eva responded in a nod as she hadn't learned to talk in their language as of yet. Eva gazed at the two men before her in skeptic. It's been so long since she traveled outside her dome. Everything felt uncanny. From the swaying organisms that branched from the ground to the quaking of the ground were all too new to her.

Lewis, who found pleasure in Eva's outfi, couldn't help but want to feel the fabric. It allured him how wrapped around it was against her skin. He could almost see through it.

Caleb noticed that she had nothing with her and realized that she may have been lost. They invited her along with them as they were headed home.

"We live not to far from here." Caleb said, stepping over a passing snail.

"We own a cabin just north of here." Lewis said. Eva simply nodded along to them.

"You're not much of talker are you?" Lewis said, fixing his bandaged glasses. He had taken a fall earlier and broke in half. Eva shook her head and focused her attention to the skies, observing as creatures she had never seen before emerge from behind branches and float in the sky. He planet never had such creatures. It was too toxic for them. Being the hottest planent that capture green house gasses such as CO2 makes it deadly to any lifeform. Aside from Eva's kind of course. The CO2 is their O2 and they require no water to survive, yearlong heats. And the time difference here was much too different form Venus. Their time worked differet they aged forward in counter clockwise rotation. Making them immortal compared to the years it takes from man to age. Eva's eyes stayed glued to the skies as her legs did most of the navigation. Crura remained silent but active as she looked out for any threats that may come their way.

Lewis, Eva and Caleb continued to walk home as the day collapsed for nightfall.

"Lewis, why do you always have to be such a creep." Caleb said. He pulled his friend back away from the girl. She looked like she was going to hit somebody at any second, and Caleb was not waiting to see that.

"I apologize for my brother. He has scrambled eggs for a brain." Caleb said, pulling his brother back. He looked at him confused, unaware of the presence Ava surrounded them with.

Ava looked him up and down, then continued to look at the trees. She felt a spiritual connection with them. She couldn't describe.

"Do you live around here by any chance?" Lewis asked, leaning on a nearby tree. Ava felt uncomfortable by the way he looked at her. Once again, Caleb had to intervene and drag his brother away from her.

"See, this is why I didn't want to bring you along! Stop harassing her." He said.

He looked back at her and smiled awkwardly embarrassed by his brother.
