After spending some time with Victoria, I left before the bell rang. Even if I disliked Jason, I wasn't so clueless and mean as to monopolize Victoria's time. Not to mention, the previous awkwardness between them has been dissipated. Victoria could joke around and smile freely around Jason again. She looked happy, and it was a good thing.
Though this wasn't the time to worry about others. I had to think about what I should do to complete the task.
Even if the election didn't require the students to vote, the teachers still had to consider a student's record for appointing a student to such a position. Previously, the thought of participating in a school-like activity was simply unthinkable for me. I was too busy studying and working, to the point I didn't have enough room in my mind to think about anything else.
Now that Eden has given me this task, I plan to fulfill it to the best of my ability.
