Noah slumped forward with his hand covering his mouth, trying his best to suppress nausea he felt upon standing in the middle of the crowd. The voices of people, vehicles, and distant construction machines overlapped with each other, creating a whirl of vortex inside his mind, eager to swallow him in.
Barely an hour passed since he agreed to help Aslan on his quest, but his physique couldn't hold it anymore. His body had gotten even weaker without him realizing it.
Noah raised his head. From under his cap, he could still see Aslan's anxious back, sitting at a nearby cafe, waiting for this supposed girl to arrive. The plan was for Aslan to lure this girl out and after they parted ways, Noah would use this chance to act.
