"Now that we have finished the first agenda, I want each candidate to give a brief introduction about themselves." Derrick glanced at the girl who stood behind him. The girl nodded, then came forward with a box in her hand.
"Hi, I'm Daisy Orlene, the secretary. In this box, I have several issues around the school, and I want the candidates to give us their opinion about it." She said professionally. She ignored the groan coming from the candidate and called one of the candidates' names.
This year's election had five candidates, including me. I watched with interest when the first candidate came forward lazily. The boy didn't say much, and when Daisy picked a paper from the box and told him about the issue, he only shrugged his shoulders and boldly told everyone his answer.
"What can I do to improve our school infrastructure? Make the student donate more money, of course."
