It felt different.
I stared at my reflection in the mirror. I was wearing the usual gray uniform, yet my short hair made me look like someone else. The stylist not only shortened my hair but my bangs as well. I used to cover my face as much as I could, but I now can't do that anymore.
'After this, there's no turning back anymore. This is what I decided. I will not regret it.'
In the end, I shifted my gaze away from the mirror as I made my way out of the house. On the way to school, I pulled out my phone and opened the email I received this morning :
