I don't know how long I was out for or even if it worked at all. The only thing I could feel was pain for forever and felt like I was about to lose my mind, I could not even cry as I just laid on the ground.
Over the course of the blinding pain, I felt warm arms wrapped around my entire body and the pain finally, finally subsided, after what felt like an eternity.
After a while, I opened my eyes and stared at my surroundings, still very tired as my entire body ached like I just performed the most intense workout in the history of workouts.
Above me is a light bulb hanging from the ceiling, right in front of my face as I stare at it, my eyes burning from the contact but I could not pull my eyes away from it, for some reason.
'Yale! You're awake!' Athena's voice suddenly came to me from somewhere I could not tell where. 'How are you feeling? Sick? Are you alright?'
