According to the information that the party goers are relating to the vanguard teams, he's always lived in the shadow of his older brothers, kept down and prevented from doing anything that would take attention off them.
He's obviously not at the party, though his older brother, the heir to the pack is. He's also looking for his mate and hoping to find her among the crowd. He was at another pack doing the same thing yesterday, or he would most likely have been at Deimos helping out, and would have had the chance to look there.
